An Incident, and the Missing Alchemist

The room in darkness where you gotta reach the NPC in the top right. This is what i've come across

- Ladder near left side
- Climb up
- Ladder on left side
- Go up and you're in top left
- go right and you drop down once
- go right and you drop down one more, in the middle of the room, still on a platform

At that point, i'm stuck. Any map or hints?

in the middle of the room where you are, you need to very carefully jump and grab for a rope to the right. It's quite easy to miss.

There's a video near the middle of that page on how to do it, worked well for me and several buddies.

Was waiting for your post but vid isn't working properly for me. I'll just keep jumping around but if you remember, it's off the platform and by how much? Or is it above the plat.

When I did it, it was above the platform. It took me about 10 minutes to get through the room. And I couldn't find the NPC with my mouse, so stand on top of the green dot on the mini-map, and do the 'Talk to NPC' hotkey button.

After you drop the second time, take a couple of steps to the right, then jump right while pressing up to hold the rope.

I kept failing it a few times cause I was using my mount.
Once I unmounted I got it the first time I tried.

Found it eventually. It's right above the platform on the very edge.

Eheheh...I'm an Outlaw, so I just climbed up to the top left and hit my Recoil-Wings macro, then Recoiled again when I was near my destination. Saved me a lot of trouble.

Genesis was really helpful for this since the attack reveals the platforms to me~

Multipet too, because the pet to your right will leap off the platform when you get close to the edge, and if he lands on something you know where to jump. That's pretty much how I got through lol.

bomb will help as well
