There's another post you seem to have skipped over- the guy apparently found a card at Iron Mutataes. But yes, that's quite a nice find you've both noticed! Hopefully, it's to come with Crimsonwood Keep Part II next patch...

My friend said he found one too and he got 2x for one hour o-o.

I hope its next patch, the fact that they translated it along with magatia and everything has to mean SOMETHING, right?

I heard about this in alliance chat a bit ago. Anybody happen to know if everything drops the cards now, or just the new enemies?

When you get 5 of the same card you get 2x on the monster, I believe.

Augh, this patch cannot load fast enough. I want these buffs more than the cards themselves.

Is the rate on them correct? Or is it high, I recall hearing they were as rare as scrolls dropping o.o But for people to find them like this, I wouldnt say they're THAT rare...

When you get 5 of the same card you get 2x on the monster, I believe.

it's not 2x, it's a 15% increase. So that'd be like... 1.15% You get some random buff when you pick up most cards too, like +5 defense as long as you're in Alcadno labs or something else equally worthless.

Some of the card enchantments are good though..

Only monsters over 30 have buffs, sand rats are 24.

GET A FIFTH. If you get the exp increase, they probably count towards the book... I mean, the game would be aware you got your 5th...
