TERA Online General : Now Free to Play

i dont know how to do that. I did download the client to the harddrive and moved it to the external but that unfortionally didnt work.

Just find the file you download to begin downloading the game, and copy it into the larger harddrive. Then run it, and see what it does.

Yup. I can almost buy all 3 that I need but I'll have no gold leftover so.. I'm probably not going to buy them right away. It's not even my turn for quills yet so I have time.

I've just decided I'm gonna save my money, no reason to upgrade to anything that would make me needlessly overpowered. Still wish I had a static for stuff, if you have 300K there's no way you don't; I've been doing 8 sets of dailies every day on 2x gold and I only have 140K. I'm gearing a lancer now just so I can run everything on my own, obviously nobody wants melee dps lol.

Bluhh.. So I'm almost level 58, but I'm stuck on a damn story quest.
I can't find Thulsa's Magic Stone anywhere. All I know is that it's near or around the Divine Furnace, but even after hunting for an hour, I can't find it.
Perhaps [mention=2088]Fionne[/mention] knows where it is? ;_;

Magic Stone? Which part of the quest are you on? I assume you are up to Ebon Tower...for that line, you need to get some glacial crystals under a bridge and kill two giants for ice and fire marrow, if I recall.

Or, you may only be up to before LoT...the entrance to the furnace is pretty difficult to get to, you need to go along the upper bridges then go down 2 flights to the center to actually reach it, it's below ground level.

I believe I'm at the part before LoT.. The thing is, I'm pretty sure I went to where you're talking about purely by accident and still didn't see the stone.. I'll try looking again when I boot the game up later. u__u

I got it work get on my harddrive. thanks guys. I tried a slayer and lancer a lvl 1-4. I think ima end up with a lancer. I like defensive classes for some reason.

WHY IS MC SO FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE? just got to 3% on mcnm, that's the best I've ever done in over 50 fails, lol. I hate this instance, I wish new pomegranate would come out just so MC isn't needed anymore.

What is a "Torch of the Gods"? And do I /need/ to have it? I read a thread saying only one or two people needed it, not the whole party.. I wish there were more dungeon guides on the official TERA site, the ones they have are incredibly helpful ;n;

About KNNM, you may want to hold off on that until you're 60 and have better gear. That dungeon is very unforgiving at level. Kelsaik is immune to status effects like stun. The way it normally works is that Kelsaik will stun a random person in the group and begin to charge up and jump into the air and stomp the person. While he's charging up, someone else has to throw a Torch of the God at him which allows you to stop him with a stun or sleep. Usually with a group with 60s with decent gear, you can just burn through him and heal through his stomp. Or you can have a Lancer block it for you.

Ahh, I suppose I'll put it off then.. You'd think since it was a story quest that gave a good chunk of exp, it'd be okay to do at the level it's given at u__u Thank you~

I don't have a group, but the people I party with aren't always randoms. It's impossible because the mechanics never work like they are supposed to. Last night so much pomegranate was broken it was retarded. Crystalbinds flat didn't work for any of us, taking debuffs from stands half the time did absolutely nothing and she did burst regardless, the fucking dots from phase 1 stayed even after we wiped and came back in so dots were all over the map by the end...but, that kind of thing happens every time I try to go >_>
It would be easy as pineapple if it would just work correctly.

58-60 is silly now with 2x exp; I get like 3-4M exp/minute there on my archer. Should be 60 tomorrow easily, gonna get my sorc up to val ele and get naga grinding out of the way. I'll have all 8 classes to 60 by the end of the week, then I get to start gearing them because nothing else to do!

I got my archer to 60 c: I'm having issues with the end-game dungeons but I'm sure I'll get the hang of them eventually..
Unfortunately, all the groups I meet through instance matching are rather rude. == So whenever I give fair warning that it's my first time in the dungeon, they boot me almost instantly.
I've started a lancer, and I got her to level 20 or so, but I'm having problems getting the timing for guarding down D: I think it may be how far in my camera is, but I'm not sure if lancer is the class for me.. Which makes me sad, because I really like how castanic females look in metal armor. I may remake her as a berserker if I can't get the hang of guarding with the basilisks. I doubt I'll be of any use in the Bastion of Lok if I can't guard against regular BAMs.

Never tell people it's your first time. You will never be able to do anything. Watch a video on youtube first, so you know how the battle mechanics work, but otherwise, pineapple them, they will always be elitist dicks about it given the chance.

What now? I started playing this recently and made a slayer because my friends were telling me that they were the hands down best DPS class.
