I dont get why everyones so surprised, pretty obv that Mercedes is top dps.

Those damage charts everyone looks at is just saying that those classes have highest % hitting skills so would be easier doing lots of damage on them
And merc prob has lowest % dmg skill on IR (110% x2) so ofc it would be lowest on the chart, but it just means that they would have most potential to do the most damage because the hits per sec IR is able to do.

And whew, 14k dex and still not even close to hitting cap range. sad life

it sure is sick dps.
but mercedes has realy low % dmg on main skils, if you would have this gear on a marksman in KMS the DPS would be way more.
still cool to see mercedes hasnt died in KMS

It doesnt matter if you're at the bottom or the top. The difference from bottom to like rank 20 is minimal. You also have to remember what survivability a class have, is it melee or ranged, does it have high crit or not, can it manage to survive 1/1 and so on. Damage charts only show how much damage you can do if you were given the chance to hit a dummy target with 0% def that would never attack you. And Afaik mercedes have the best ignore def skill after unlimited patch so that gives an advantage aswell. I mean just look at mechanic, probably one of the most annoying jobs to play at most bosses, you get toyed with so much, this just drops your damage by 50% already if not more.

not to mention that magnus and root abyss bosses make it quite hard to even get into siege mode, poor mechs.
