Razmos Wrote:Well the only way to get from Epic to Legendary is to use Super Cubes anyway, and nobody would use those on an epic item on the hopes of a rare chance at skipping Unique.

Whether it works or not, it isn't relevant because nobody would be stupid enough to try it.

er, actually most people use super when going from epic to unique because of the higher odds of going up in rank.

I thought Super only made it possible to go from Unique-> Legendary.

otherwise people are spending extra money on something they can't be sure actually works due to it's random nature.

It's pretty much been proven IIRC that super cubes rank up at a better chance that normal cubes.

On a different note, anyone know how those root abyss Unique potions might work with this? Would this be the ideal time to use one?

No one is going out of their way for this. No one is charging extra because of this. We just aren't taking things at face value like you always do.

Pretty sure it's common sense as well as confirmed at this point.

Super and Enlightening let you go from Unique -> legendary, not only super, IIRC.

It's clearly not common sense.

Thank you for telling me it was confirmed though, I did not know that.

CrazyForDex Wrote:That doesn't prove anything because they literally said the exact same thing as Nexon did. That's more of a translation issue than confirmation.

I guess we will have to just wait and see

But they didn't literally say the exact same thing Nexon of America said. The Korean event notice doesn't only say that you can rank up twice, it specifically says that you can go from Rare to Unique, in those exact words. In the text with the 02 in the big yellow circle, it says, in purple text, 큐브사용 시 레어(Rare) -> 유니크(Unique)까지 한번에 두 단게가 상승합니다.

This thread on Insoya also says you can't go from epic to legendary, but the response is based on the event notice, so take from that what you will.

It is not, however, confirmation that you cannot go from Epic to Legendary here, just that you couldn't in Double Miracle Times in Korea.

Yeah... I've never had a epic->unique from a regular cube, only super cubes. I've used maybe 50-60 regular cubes on epic items when going for stats. Super cubes do tend to rank up epic->unique pretty quick during miracle times (10-15 fairly frequent).

Approximate rates I've heard reported go
1 in 20: rare to epic regular cubes
1 in 80: epic to unique regular cubes
1 in 40: epic to unique super cubes
1 in 80: unique to legendary super cubes

Miracle time doubling those odds seems about right in my experience.

Last miracle time, my overall went from unique to legendary in 3 cubes and both my hat and gloves went from epic -> unique in less than 5. These were super cubes btw.

I don't think you can put a relative # of cubes for something like this.

Wow I completely misread that post, my response is invalid.

There's a set success rate, it's just that nobody knows what the actual rate is lol.

No confirmation it doesn't work on Epic -> Legendary. Stop assuming otherwise.

"won't work"? They're still supposed to upgrade to Unique twice as fast as usual, even if they can't skip directly to Legendary (which is unproven).
