Shields Go Up Or Down?

When the new Magician shield is released during the Maple Anniversary, will the prices of the Shields with M.ATK go up? Or go down? Also, will the prices of the scrolls for Shield for M.ATK go up? Or down?

Depends how common they are, how cheap it is to forge, and whether we start getting shield m.atk scrolls from anywhere other than Gachapon.

Um...I'm pretty sure the shield would be dropped O_O.

I'm assuming the prices of shields with M. ATK would go down, as there would be more Maple Magician shields that would be scrolled, and everyone would want a Maple Magician shield (because of the extra INT) instead of the regular shields.

I'm also assuming the scrolls themselves will rise in price as people will use them to forge the shields. It's because everyone would want to scroll the Magician shields, (because of the extra int) and the stock of the scroll would plummet (assuming they only come from gachapon by then, and the rate hasn't changed). With lower stock, and high demand, it's a high price.

Of course, that's only assuming nothing happens with the magic attack shields, or if no other good shields come out, etc. etc.

Another factor is the lv 120 mage shield - its possible skill buff and level-up bonuses (assuming non-nerfed 120 gear) as well as scrollability and stat bonuses will make it in far more demand amongst high level mages (the portion of mage population with the most money due to leech-sales), and a competing shield may lose out (unless the 120 requires LUK, which may give each their own niche).

I don't think the prices for shield matk scrolls will go up by that much since they're already still at a pretty ridiculous price. I'm not sure whether or not people would be willing to pay 25mil+ for a single scroll.

Not really, I would rather have a scrolled maple shield than the magician one. It can be worn at level 20 instead of 64, and can be used for HP washing. Unless someone scrolls a magician shield to 16int or something, I would rather keep my common class shield than to switch for only 2int.
