[Notice] Antivirus Softwares

Certain antivirus softwares may mistaken the MapleStory client as a virus when it's executed starting from v63. This is due to additional client security. Please note that there are NO VIRUSES in any of our MapleStory files.

The antivirus softwares that will not allow the MapleStory client to execute are AntiVir, SecureWeb-Gateway, Sophos and TheHacker. If you are a user of any of these programs, please pause the program before playing MapleStory.

They're way too unconcerned for their users' computers. "Just pause your antivirus..." ... wtp? I know of no major companies that would do such a thing (you would be burned at the stake). Teach the users how to add specific exceptions to antivirus software...

If you are a user of any of these programs, please pause them and your firewall and go to download from eMule a virus that deletes your system32 folder before playing MapleStory. Happy Mapling!

Just thought about something...

Considering that antiviruses aren't accepting MapleStory.exe, they are allowed to reverse engineer MapleStory.exe, right?

(The main content is that people can reverse engineer a program if it is necessary to achieve functional cooperation with another program)

My dad's computer has a heart attack when I run Maple. Not like antivirus things freaking out at Maple's new. Dx
