I almost wish they kept the generic naming convention that the quests use in JP games. In the detailed descriptions they have more elegant names, but in quest info and stuff it's just: [Monster Name] Subspecies/Rare Subspecies.

Almost better considering some of the names they've dreamed up. Although it won't solve Dumbassboros...I mean Duramboros. I still read "Dumbassboros" everytime I see it.

I have now preordered my copy on Amazon. It should come at the day of release.

Also to all of you thinking of pre-ordering from Capcom's Shop: They're out of stock as of yesterday.

They didn't mention anything like that when I viewed the page a month or two back.

I guess if it's sold out that's good news. I assume that means they're selling more copies than they expected.

No, nothing like that. They started shipping copies around the middle of last week in order to get them there as close to release as possible.
I just live close enough to where they shipped from so that I'll be getting it early most likely.

Not setting myself up for a fall though. If it doesn't come in tomorrow, I'm perfectly fine with getting it on release day.

Tempted to buy my WiiU either tonight or tomorrow to play the demo all day. Is there a way I could get the game a day earlier?

Unless you have connections to people who work in GameStop and stuff like that that's usually not possible to my knowledge unless they release it early all together.

I used my tax return for mine and thought of it as an early investment that I can use Netflix for if I'm bored...cause there's more coming for the Wii U eventually, just nothing major yet outside of MH3U.

I didn't see the demo as more than something to check out the graphics and controls...but I do know people who fought both monsters with every single weapon type.

I guess my experience with MH makes me hate the fact that you have basically no useful armor skills and your weapons don't make any sense for the monsters you're fighting, at least for most weapon types.
I get that it's a demo...but still...
