I only found out when I heard on the news that someone from Canada (IIRC) tried bringing them to the states, and the borders didn't like it.

Welcome to the club, the "toys" inside the eggs are such a waste of plastic and resources though... But still I always wanted surprize eggs as a kid. It was entertaining to see what there is, even though the stuff always ended up in trash after 1-2 days.

Just a different brand named "Choco Treasures" will be sold instead that bypasses the restriction Kinder Eggs had on them by making the chocolate not surround the toy completely.
