I don't see why it wouldn't work. It seems to be treated as an actual attack. It even activates Hayato's healing ability (when you crit with it)

it also triggers damage reflect so be careful around bosses with it

I actually went and tested this, and no it does not trigger the 100 attack limit. I sat on a safe platform hitting Iron Mutaes with it and counted the number of attacks to one hundred, and it's still going. The damage displayed on my screen also seems to be accurate past the one hundred hits, as the Iron Mutaes are still dying.

Oh, and it looks like I've gained a level while I was typing this and am now at 13%.

Edit: Looks like you can use a Jr. Boogie familiar while hanging on a rope just out of enemy reach to effectively train while remaining afk. It's not very fast, but it's more than you'd get if you were to just sit in a town and do nothing.

IF you have a pet with auto pot, you can do this in unsafe places too, like LHC, as long as your pet keeps potting and you dont run out.
