Demons..basically ignore the existence of Damage Reflect.

The videos speak thousands words.

First, for avenger,

With that freaking high hp, he need not to worry about damage reflect at all. Confusedcroll to where he starts to hit PB:

Now, for slayer,

Is this the power of dark meta hyper?

Ignore Arka's screen crash skill like a boss.

Why does the Demon Slayer in the second video have no wings... and an Inkwell Android? I'm so confused.

That being said, it's nice that Demon Slayer hasn't been completely outclassed by the new jobs.

I personally couldn't care less about Demon Avenger or the incredibly stupidly OP funding of the Avenger in the first video and his 250k+ HP.

In KMS, they made it so Demon Slayer wings can be covered up by cash shop capes.

The Inwkell Android is from an event. I think it's just a hat that can be put on it, but I'm not positive. It could be a full android.

I've always wondered why isn't Demon Avenger a "top" class. Such as Novans.

It probably requires more funding to be on an equal footing due to it's damage formula.

And on a personal and biased note, the gameplay was about as exciting as Mihile's. Also, grew too much into Slayer's gameplay to enjoy Avenger.

That too. I sometimes forget that Demon Avenger even exists, it's just THAT boring.
I just feel it is completely useless and a waste of a character slot, when they could (and should) have used the HP = Damage formula as a revamp for Dark Knights, rather than create a separate job which nobody likes.

If it wasn't for it's link skill, I would never, EVER consider making this class. When it comes to GMS I will wait and see if it stacks with Kanna's link skill, if it doesn't I shall never touch it.

They got them when Demon Avenger was released.

I heard there was an item that came out similar to Carta's Pearl for demon characters around the time of Avenger's release, that allowed for the removal of wings? Meh, even if cash capes cover the wings, it'll be a huge improvement... I hate the darn things.

Slightly more on topic: People in my alliance always ask me if I'll switch to avenger when he's released in GMS, I suppose, automatically assuming avenger will be more OP and sexier than slayer... I like the concept of the character, but I'm glad to see others have no interest in him as well. Just another link mule and nothing more.

Demon Avenger is easily the most forgettable class in the game.

Maybe tied with Mihile. I rarely see those walking around.

And Wild Hunters.

Talking about the class itself, not the people who play it. People remember most classes, but Avenger is just brushed aside very easily.
It's hard to forget Mikhail due to the giant slap Nexon did on people lol.

Basically what Dark Link said.

Mihile is also an NPC so it's hard not to remember the class exists. The problem with Demon Avenger is probably very little promotion from Nexon and Xenon being released not too long after. I also seem to remember Xenon being announced first for some reason, but I'm probably mistaken.

If I recall it correctly, it was because there was very mysterious info released over Xenon before Demon Avenger was released. I remember a dark silhouette of Xenon with a few lines of text, and then all of a sudden Demon Avenger, while everyone was still wondering about Xenon.

AFAIK we got the strings for Xenon first (Then identified as Automata) and Demon Avenger was a near complete surprise, with the only hint at all about DA being the wing shown on the promo image saying something would happen on the 6th of December. Then you have Damien being thrown in as a red herring and people being disappointed that DA came before Xenon.

Demon Slayer is so cool.

I wish Avenger didn't suck, HP as a stat is pretty cool... I think if if I ever decide to switch from thieves > warriors I'll play a Slayer.
