Season 3 finale had only 13 minutes, for some strange reason the screen was completely black and soundless from the 13 minute mark onwards. I'm hoping S4 will bring some explanation on that, and Rarity will make an appearance.

In other news, Friendship is Witchcraft 8 - "Foaly Matripony" was the most wonderfulest thing ever.

I think you forgot to read between the lines somewhere. I'm ignoring the existence of the part where Twilight Sparkle becomes an alicorn in the episode because it's just so wrong.

I'm less upset about the whole alicorn princess thing, and more about how terribly rushed the episode was. The music was great, but it just happened waaaaaaay too fast.

I enjoyed FiW 8 a lot more.

Finally saw the episode for myself after being spoiled 800x on Tumblr.

And I HIGHLY AGREE that the episode was horribly rushed. It would have been so much better as a two-parter, with the first part of the plot being an episode and a half long, leading up to the alicorn princess part (which I personally thought was nice but should have been handled a lot better).

Actually, many of us thought the ending to the Season 2 finale felt kind of rushed as well, since they were able to wrap up everything in the last 5 minutes or so. But I won't disagree that they really put in a lot for this one episode. On the other hand though, if you were like me and raged about how bad it was going to be before the episode aired, then in a funny way the episode didn't seem so bad.

But no major points were honestly missed. All that was missed was Cadence's view of the plans in a more explained perspective, which would be nice as some type of deleted scene or type of aspect. Hence the idea of that scrapped episode, it was apparently meant to me a continuity towards the sister relationship of Rarity and Sweetie. And this is why I never buy those DVDs, end of story. Now back to fic writing while I place the floor waiting for my laptop...Though again, they made that product placement finale work well with this one.

That's weird...Yea, I'll get on that. I can't do an updated version due to the fact I'm still missing stuff, and such. I can make do with what I have.
I finally got my laptop back, astonishingly, after this weekend, so I'm sorta back in a sense.
-Unicon Charity is finally going underway, and reddit posts done by the staff have come to surface, links removed and are recommended not to be posted due to certain "vulgar" comments towards some of the staff and names wren't withheld.

-Disavowed, 5 Stars. Yay.

-Negotiations have begun for a official MLP:FiM OST. If all goes well, expected release would be the fall of 2013~2014 alongside S4.

-Speaking Of S4, work on the animation is rumored to begin this spring, with voice acting to follow. They "hope" to get this done in nice-polished quality by the end of this year. No rush, really. We've waited alongside Korra fans, so we got used to it. (On a related note, rumor speculates that the season will be "Half-Arc Based, surrounding the duties of Princess Twilight, and the "Mane Five"")
