Root Abyss Boss Mechanics

vellum and puppet really don't work together. i still put it down anyway.
i can solo all of them as well.. vellum i can do with maybe 3-4 minutes left

puppet makes the other three smooth sailing - vellum also makes a distinct sound when he is coming up to cast fireballs, if anyone has noticed.

i don't have strategy for vellum either, i just time it so i don't get hit i guess

not only the fireballs, the green plasma thing too.

this. however if she spawns it on top of herself i can get seduced since inferno is pineappleing horrible. it may be hard for some other classes as well since at first it may be on the other side (but its really not, lol dead)
however ranged can probably be out of her clawing range by then and just will out of it. i haven't actually bothered using hero's will there for some reason

i'm honestly not sure of the mirror's seduce range. if i did not kill it in time when it's on top of her it happens

I have the exact same problem. Hopefully this will cure itself with the hyper changes to UI. I don't think Hero's Will works on mirror seduce... but I can't recall actually testing.

I guess I should start turning on the sound when I play. I had no idea there were specific noises for attacks. Then again, I'm usually streaming video while I play anyway...

It's odd that it's even hitting your max hp. None of Von Bon's attacks do more than 90% my hp...

Go to Chaos version and it will 1hko you, which is what he's trying to show.

Oh gotcha. Duh. Didn't realize it was chaos

This happens in Magnus as well but you lose all your buffs and the death counter goes down.

Does anyone know what the drop mechanics are? In Limgoons solos he brings people with him - I don't see any equips drop for him, but he trades the other people and they give him gear. Can you only see/loot class specific gear?

It's an unlimited mechanic at work i think. Everyone gets their own drops and only they see them. Makes it so solo runs are 6x less profitable than bringing a full party.

I suppose it is possible...with 10x drop increase too. It sure looks like the loot of an empress raid.

Yes this is right. You get your own set of equips from killing the boss. Potions are not counted though.

This makes it so that people with multiple computers and hackers with multi clients are going to win big =/.

Looking back, I didn't know von bon's final mode drops stupid falling orbs like Magnus, god more annoyances.

Wait, you can't get the same item or equips even with the Unlimited change giving everyone their own drops?

I don't claim to know Unlimited changes, but just stating that any one person cannot obtain repeated equips or weapons even with 10x or 20x drop rates. They only drop the rest of the list, not repeated ones. The only possible explanation is, someone else could've gotten what you gained and stacked it all together. I denied it in the 1st part, but the 2nd part I sorted hinted at it with multiple computers, contradicting myself haha.
