Still not sure if this is the right section but I think this might be the male kanna but you know how the internet is (then again, someone told me it was from the maplestory twitter so....)

Why does the Male Kanna look more female than the female Kanna?
I quite like the one on the bottom left though.
Other than that the faces look quite derp, so I might just make a female.

Also I'm pretty sure the male is still wearing the female kimono (yukata? someone correct me? ) because you can see their thighs haha

Maybe it's their secret tactic to make sure people all go for the female ones. Don't ask me why though, NX spending is NX spending no matter what gender you're playing.

Seriously, Nexon's designers can do better than this. How was this able to be accepted?

I was actually quite curious what hats male Kanna would get instead of ribbons. The bucket hat thingy makes sense.

I don't mind making female characters. I'm a guy but i've made female characters before because I personally think they have better NX options, and since so many of the NX equips look "cute" it fits better on girls.

i think the "male" tag is just so that you can NX it out as a male, instead of only female. surprised they gave them such a sucky face/hair combo though

But it has female hair, what looks like a female face, is wearing female clothes, and a hair ribbon which was female kanna's hot time hat.

Nexon is a crafty devil. They know that girls do not play videogames or use the internet. And since so many guys on the internet are uncomfortable with playing female characters (for some reason). Cashgrab!

The ribbon was the hot time hat in JMS.
But you have a good point, maybe we can choose. since we have hot days now and use the reward system, we will probably be allowed to choose which one we want.

We had this crazy guy on the forums once named Khoi, he was a guy (obvious) and most of the characters he played were female, when people asked why he did or made fun of him for doing so he said something close to this, not an exact quote.

"Why would I want to look at the pixels of a male avatar everyday when I can look at the pixels of a female avatar?"
