We don't have 150 equips yet, but the chaos boxes can yield pretty nice results. I think I was in there for 40-50 minutes.

What's the difference between the regular and chaos boxes? I've not tried any of the chaos ones yet.

Empress equips must come from these, I only say this because I saw an Empress Archer Overall with the "All Scrolls Will Succeed" special line in the FM. I was tempted to buy it just to throw ICSoGs at it, but forgot and don't know where it is now.

Not last I checked, in Scania's fm at least. With no secondary stats needed now, they're just shoes with 2 extra slots that're outclassed easily. They might be worth something if cubed, but otherwise worthless. s:

The hard part about this boss for me is finding it in any place except for the Mystic Gate and PQ. >_>

Tried a solo instead of running with my friends for once. That troll healing at the end almost made me pomegranate my pants. 10 seconds left on the timer.

My friend invited me to tag along at Cygnus as I have a decent range and his other characters could supply all the skills I need. Sounds fun, right? Well, it was right up to the part where my friend reported that our main DPS-er went to bed despite saying he could make it but the DB coming along said we could give it a shot since we weren't going to get wheels, so why not?



Let me emphasize that the run went well at first. We commented that we just might be able to down all of the V2 KoCs, but then none showed up until 10 minutes were left and then I died for some unknown reason (It was actually my Carte Noir which I failed to realize somehow when I had been doing fine with all of the RFs at that time). Anyway, I was forced off the map before I could see how they did and they were only able to take down Eckhart.

Our prize for staying in there? 2 MMBs. ASIASOFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Anyway, it was a really educational experience and we'll be going in again on Friday so I hope to have prepared a good Ange De la Mort by then to assist with DPS!

I lied, we went in today as there was a slot available at FFA (Free for all). The Evan thankfully came this time and victory was accomplished!



Commentary: I actually died early and ate through both of my WoFs as someone triggered DR (So did the Evan), and I died again when I spawned onto the fire because I revived too soon. With my Final Feint on cooldown that meant I had to take extreme precautions to stay alive, including stopping at least two seconds before the announced stop indicator as my game was having random lag spikes, and as you can see from the screenshot we managed to take down all of the KoCs and split ASAP before the Empress had any chance to get her revenge because we killed her precious knights. :'D


Our best drop this round was an Empress shoe (I think, that was what I looted but I did see an Empress robe and mail looted by the others). Besides using both my WoFs and finally seeing that I do all of 40k Milles on Empress this was a lovely run and I'll be psyched for the next runs!
