I hate what the internet has become.

Oh, you have got to be kidding me. Gangnam Style was absolutely horrendous and can't even be compared to Harlem Shake.

I actually listen to trap music and love everything about it; granted, Harlem Shake has been out for awhile and finally got a lot of publicity because of what Filthy Frank did. I'm actually pretty happy that this happened because the artist is getting a bit more recognition for the music. I really do not care that people want to make a 30 second video of themselves doing a dumb dance. As for Gangnam Style, I don't listen to pomegranate that I can't even understand; the only time I would even consider doing that dance is if I'm drunk and with some friends.

I would give all my Pineapples to this if I could.

.....

To each their own I guess.

I think it can't be denied that gangnam style has a nice and catchy rythm, it's not the best song but all of us have felt like dancing to it at least once, whereas out of this trend, I find Harlem Shake totally.... empty.

Edit: Can't believe I found one cutier than Luigi's

Gangnam Style had a catchy tune, and at the very least, interesting and original dance moves. So does Harlem Shake.

And for the part about not listening to things you can't understand, I ask you, the pineapple is "cola gega reecha?"

*coughstillnotenglishcough* (Mind you, I don't care, foreign songs are fine, even if I can't understand the lyrics. I was just pointing out the BS in SunYanZi's argument.)

You sir are just being a smart ass.

The Harlem Shake lyrics aren't what makes that song and I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you have the brain capacity to realize that.
If you like Gangnam Style, then so be it. That still doesn't change the fact that I find the song to be very annoying/bad.
