Oh man the main skill... I'm so happy to see that it beats all others. Especially since you can tweak it like pallys.
Also, the Kanna boss video just went up yesterday (since it's the 18th now) so I was completely unaware of it but very pleased that it did go up. I noticed she can counter AND guard.... Mage pally much?

Spammable heal? I was wondering when they'd take away the monopoly from Bishops.

Kanna has no res, and it seems that the heal only applies to Kanna herself.

So no, she's no bishop replacement.

Because heal is useful these days.

Maybe if heal had a moderate cooldown and placed a buff on the players that prevented a hit or something.

I think Bishop just needs a skill with an instant healing effect similar to autopot.

It has too high of a delay and as a result even when maxed it has about a 700% DPS decrease compared to just spamming Shisen Gyouha.

If I remember correctly, there was mention of something like where if you did max damage, you could end up doing more because your Hits/sec would be higher, but that doesn't really matter considering in a few months you won't be able to hit cap.

Having second thoughts about kanna then since 'hurricane' was one of the most wanted attacking skills I had for a mage class. :/

I hope GMS adjusts Haja Rengekifu before release or future hypers can make it much stronger than Shisen Gyouha.

Don't worry, following Nexon's current trend, it's only a matter of time before more classes with hurricane are released. Sooner or later one will be a mage.

Well things may change when Kanna gets hyper skills. I would assume that attack would be one that would get buffed.

The difference between the two is that kanna's 'hurricane' is 4th job and was meant to be her main attacking skill for bossing.

However as it turns out her regular attack is stronger in comparison which is why I was disappointed since it was one of the main features that made me excited for the class coming to GMS.

So I'll just alter my previous statement to being that I always wanted a mage class with a 'hurricane' for bossing purposes.

My first thought was actually Fire Lasers. but then I just kept thinking "Fire mah lasers" and so decided to think of something different.

Anyway, regarding Kanna, i'm quite torn about whether to make a Male or Female. Female is the canon gender, and I love her outfits. But the male one might look decent, with male-only equips which I could potentially fuse onto items for my other characters.

But then again, it will probably be Nexon America designing the Male Kanna's outfits... and I dunno, it's quite worrying.

This class could either be a trainwreck of horrible translations and missed points or a successful slice of Japanese culture imported into the game

I honestly think that her hurricane skill is somewhat situational. In the Kanna boss video she uses both attacks nicely. I can totally see hypers adding a line of damage to shisen or increasing the elemental damage done. It's no hurricane but shisen attacks rather fast.

They repeated the block of text about victory coming at a cost under the Sengoku Shop section.

Nitpicking aside, I am doubleplusexcite about this.
