Go complain about your DPS elsewhere. I'm confused as to why someone who puts in tremendous amount of time, effort and money doesn't want to enjoy most of the content the game has to provide outside of their class, which less and less people are starting to like because you boasting about being the best F/P yet being one of the most selfish, negative and mean-spirited gives that community such a POSITIVE image. Nobody likes you, your character and your consistent negative feedback so why don't you do everyone a favor and complain to a dairy? Otherwise be open to discussion and allow other points of view to sink in instead of throwing yours around as the only logical maxim.

OT: I kinda wish the characters would be given japanese voice acting to retain their character qualities cause let's be honest, most of the voice acting in English isn't really appealing and I can already see how off key these characters will sound. inb4 Hayato gets a child voice while Kaiser has the voice of a constipated adult soldier when he looks like he's 12.

while I also kinda hope for this, i don't think it's going to happen. Mainly because it would seem weird for your character to be chatting to other NPC's in English, and then spouting off Japanese phrases in combat.

That being said, the characters technically shouldn't know English anyway.

There are. Whether or not Nexon decides to have them drop from their respective monsters is a whole nother idea.

I don't know what Loveless is, but the rest is a large yes. I've had all three at one point or another on my Kanna(I even have an Empress Fan nowadays, huzzahs). Same goes with Hayato.

I'm pretty sure Nexon made Kanna come first because, yeah, it's the Year of the Snake. Kanna has all those snake skills. I don't think many people noticed the connection.

I'll admit that AB was a horrifying example, Mihile not so much. But that's sort of the problem with designing a class that is basically genderlocked due to not just its storyline but skills as well. But lol, didn't know Canada and the UK were so...bad.

Sure I'd like my Dual Blade get his Hyper Skills, but that won't suddenly make me start going to Empress, or anything. And sure won't make my Bishop stronger than other new classes.

On topic, what's interesting about Kanna? I know Hayato can chain his skills in a pretty sweet way, but what's Kanna's perk? Never heard much about it, except she's glitched as pineapple.

Their Facebook doesn't say that that's male Kanna, it's just a "mysterious character." And given the fact that they've already unveiled Kanna, there's no reason to call it a "mysterious character."

Well, that's what I thought. But I don't know much about Kanna or Hayato. I assumed it was male Kanna because he's wearing clothing similar to its female counterpart.

This thread below shows the NPC. His name is ツチミカドハルアキ. Has nothing relating to Kanna in his name. (At least I don't think so.)

Have fun with that teleport DC glitch, guys. Kanna's really fun to play though. The only reason I quit was because JMS hackshield was giving me problems that I couldn't get past even with a virtual box and I didn't feel like playing it on my laptop all the time.

Also, if they're removing the gender lock on Kanna, does that mean they hired 2 separate voice actors for the class? I doubt that. Something tells me it's just Nexon being Nexon and not catching their mistake before putting the news page up.

omnyoji = おみょうじ = 陰陽師 = diviner/exorcist. Is that a Nexon employee? lol if they are, wouldn't be surprised. Spirit Walker is a horrible name, and they should feel horrible for even thinking of it. Sounds like some crappy class title made by a 2nd grader role playing with his friends who have their own class names like "dino warror," "ghost lord," and "Master chief"

No, you know what, I'm pretty sure the people who can ask JMS developers what they intended Kanna to be are the ones who are likely to be able to identify who/what Kanna is.

Essentially: Quit weeabooing. A literal translation is almost never the best way to translate something: Woolseyisms. Get used to them.

You're right, a literal translation is almost never the best way to translate something. A bastardization is even worse. You're assuming that Nexon America's contact with Nexon Japan included specifically asking what they think its English name should be. What most likely happened is Nexon America came up with a name, at most asked the Japanese branch to approve it, and they simply gave an okay. Fairly doubtful that they actually went into depth regarding what it should be translated to, most likely picked a name they felt could be marketed and had some vague meaning behind the class. Since she deals with demons and spirits, just include "Spirit" in her name and something to make it sound cool. IF they ask Nexon JP what they think she really is, she's a omnyouji.

It's true omnyouji are not literally diviners nor just exorcists, but they sure as hell are closer to those than "spirit walker" is. If you're going to keep the cultural references, story, and background of the character in tact, why would you go through the trouble of butchering what it actually is? Calling it diviner may not be entirely accurate but it gets a general feel for what they do.

She has status resistance/boss damage buffs, so she has some interesting party skills that no other job has. Also, heal I believe and she buffs different than other chars? I think the fox does all/some buffs kinda like an autobuff pet.
