False bannings galore.
I found it hilarious some said "Koreans take care of Koreans, if you're not Korean you're not moving up in this company". I guess they're not the Equal Opportunity type.
Are those really Nexon employee? ;o if so then WOW, I don't know what to say. Sounds like a HORRIBLE place to work.

It's perplexing to see how terribly this company is managed after all of these years. I've always wished that someone with a bit more competence would buy out Maple, since it always had the potential to be so much more than what it is.

I think he was just complaining about being unable to properly deal with tickets.
I can't see someone making a false post pretending to be an employee going on and on about bad working conditions, 'anti-minority attitudes', broken air conditioner and so-on.

Hey, how come you get released within 24 hours while I have to wait 24 - 72 hours? Mad

EDIT: And I can log in after that. Stupid outdated copy-pastas.
Dang you lucky people, mine is still open ;s and the scary part is that they said "Your account will continue to be monitored." EEk!!@!

How long did it take from the work in progress to that msg they sent you? Or how long did it take to review the account?

It was open for 9 days since my ban, the last time I checked it was 3 hours ago it's still open, now my ticket got responded & closed and my account was unbanned.

Interestingly, he makes no claim of being innocent.
DANG Tyler, I think Nexon have gone crazy...maybe try sending another ticket and hope for the best ( even though they prob will auto close it, there's nothing to lose to send in another one)

I cannot speak for him directly, as I think he should himself (He is a little distraught right now)

I was asking him earlier, he said that no character was even made during the level hack time period. He deleted a level 96 ranger he made, but that was it.

They say that but we all know that they're not going to monitor them at all. They don't even have the required personnel to take care of the blatant obvious hackers, let alone all of the falsely banned accounts.

I've opened the ticket on feb. 1st so... 2 weeks. Tongue

Not when Hime has anything to say about it

I find it hard to believe that Tyler would have participated in the level 200 beginner exploit, much less more than three times. Based on Hime's reply, my first thought was that he might've been banned for the feather exploit. If that's the case, Nexon 1) has serious priority issues, 2) has no sense in giving an appropriate punishment to fit the crime, and 3) is terribly inconsistent at catching people. That's the best explanation I can come up with the situation at hand. Monocle
No one has gotten banned for the feather exploit. There is no reason to believe he was the only one, out of 1/3 of maplers who did it, that got banned.
I have no idea of who this guy is but as Sapta said: he didn't even try to defend himself on his post on his blog.

I think he knows why and accepts the fact that his account was banned.
Of course I realize that nobody's been banned for the feather exploit, but he'd have to be a total idiot to have to do something else to deserve a perma ban, and I didn't get the impression that he was that sort of person.

Not defending himself on his blog is highly suspicious; it's also (not very) possible that he's too distraught to argue about it.

*And supposedly he was going to post a response on the Nexon forums before Hime came in and started deleting posts and closing threads.

Claims like that are a bit absurd considering they refuse to share their so called evidence with the person they're accusing 99% of the time.

The privacy pretense is just an excuse for them to dodge accountability for their actions under the guise of 'for your own good'. If someone's broken the ToS they deserve no protection from the evidence of that fact and it's in everyone's best interest that proof be publicly available so no one can whine and moan about how innocent they are with no evidence either way. He said/she said is crap for customer service. The simple fact they have posted proof publicly before demonstrates that they can disregard any policy about privacy on a whim.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
