Super excited for SMT x FE. I skimmed over the Nintendo Direct. They didn't say what genre of game it would be did they?

Basically all they said was it's a thing that exists and nothing more. Oh and they will probably be doing this thing more in the future too. So who knows what we will get next.

I still don't get how they decided to mesh these two universes, of all things, together. Fire Emblem characters in RPG format is gonna be...weird.

So it turns out that Europes NES (And probably SNES) wii u virtual console games still run at 50hz.

It's a shame they chose such mediocre games. I honestly wouldn't spend 30 pence on Ballon fight, yoshi, punch-out or donkey kong.

As for the others the 50hz issue is a huge dealbreaker for me , kirbys adventure I already have on my 3ds, running at the speed it's supposed to, Super metroid I can ignore the 50hz issue because it's good enough to get away with it, and speed isn't a huge concern. F-zero on the other hand running at 17% slower than it's supposed to puts me off it, plus it's probably not that great of a game either.

The only really good F-zero game was GX on gamecube and it's arcade counterpart. I suppose the n64 one might have been alright. The GBA ones are terrible, and the SNES one looks no better.

I hope nintendo launches the VC properly with a big selection of games. It's downright stupid it looks like we have to start from nothing AGAIN and be dripfed AGAIN.

I would. I grew up playing Balloom Fight among other games like Lode Runner, Bomberman and such. Its theme song for the endless run was one of my favorites.

Strategic RPG seems the most plausible to me, regardless if it might be a waste of the Wii U capabilities.

I don't think Golden sun has enough characters for a Fire emblem crossover. There are what, 16 playable characters from the Original through to dark dawn, and you could probably scrape another 10 or so people from the bad guys and side characters, but thats still not even at hte number of people you'd get in one fire emblem game, let alone a series crossover.

Golden sun certainly deserves a playable rep in the next smash bros though. Probably Issac, though they could go with Matthew (issacs son) from Dark dawn.

And while we're on it, I want Golden sun 4 for my 3DS too. Damn nintendo and them putting massive cliffhangers at the end of games that might or might not even get a sequel.

Rayman legends delayed AGAIN to september, so ubisoft can make 360/ps3 versions.



Multiplatform I can live with, but pineapple ubisoft for delaying the wii u version 2-3 weeks before release. Again. I cancelled my preorder now anyway, gonna have much better things to play in september.

On the other hand, miiverse is still amazing.

It's cheap from Ubi Soft not to release the game right now when it's already completed for Wii U. How many games saw releases on PS3/XBOX up to even a year before being released on Wii U?.

I don't know how true that rumor about Microsoft being responsible for the delay is, but this scenario makes it all plausible as Sony and MS are the only ones benefiting from it.

In conclusion, I sure wont buy this game first hand.

Nintendo announced New Super Luigi U. It's DLC for the "New Super Mario Bros U" game, where you play as luigi through the whole game. Oh, and they're redesigning every single one of the 80+ stages in the game. Get hype..

I hope nintendo releases New Super Luigi U just before Rayman Legends. Really troll the crap out of Ubisoft.

I just bought a Wii U Deluxe. During the setup, it's taking forever to do the system update. Just wondering if this is normal, or my Wireless is not cooperating with my router due to range like [MENTION=6070]Arrol[/MENTION];. Anyone know? It also took like 30-45 seconds to connect to my router.

Ah, that's fine. It just kinda threw me off when it took so long to connect to my router, I was afraid that I had the same problem Arrol did after reading his thread. Thanks for the info.

I've been patiently waiting on the cost but I'm not exactly marketed yet until I see the activities. I created that error previously with the 3DS at first release and was frustrated for quite a while. At least I got some 100 % free activities out of it but that's besides the factor.
