31/1 - Characters' max level is increased to 250!
Razmos Wrote:But what about the exp penalty for being over the enemies level range? By 210 at least (I can't remember what the level range is) you will be getting far less experience than that, and also you will outlevel the high level content they are releasing too.

(I'm guessing that the level penalty does apply to the cygnus areas, but with the cap being 200 nobody has ever hit the penalty)

You don't get an exp or drop penalty from mobs that are level 150 or higher.

Ahhh I see, thanks for pointing that out.

Actually they removed that at the same time as the patch that added the penalty for fighting monster 20 levels above you (I seriously don't understand why). Tongue (drop penalty still doesn't apply to 150+ though).

Are you freaking serious? What is wrong with this company? Tongue

Oh, so my point was relevant (yay!)
In this case, this pushes back the expected date of a level 250 by.... a lot.

Wait, removed what? The exp penalty for mobs too low, or the no-penalty over 150?

penalty of mobs of 150+ anf also added one that if you fight mobs 20 levels above you, the drop penalty it's the same.

I stand corrected. But they can still use 2xp tickets, right? so wouldn't that half the time, assuming they're rich?

Monsters above level 150 are now subject to the exp penalty.

The 10b per hour was assuming 2x already.

And in GMS. Because KMS doesn't have on-demand.

It's been a while and correct me if I wrong, but the EXP penalty doesn't apply to boss or party flagged mobs does it?
I still recall getting full exp killing crockies as well as stuff in Monster Park with a Lv200 character before.

The exp penalty applying to mobs above 150 is only in KMS. Does not apply in GMS currently.

Corrected for you... for now that is.

I know of that; Currently in GMS, the exp penalty doesn't apply to boss, party flagged, Masteria/NLC, world tour mobs, or stuff above lv150. Besides the level of the mobs, did they remove those exceptions (especially the boss and party flagged mobs) in KMS, unless they never had them to begin with?

The reason the Masteria and World-Tour mobs are exceptions are that these mobs never existed in KMS.

With the exp penalty taken into account, I'd imagine it'll be closer to 2014 before anyone in GMS hits 250.

  4. Hero - level 208 (5,976,079,393 exp) << first level 200 in kMS

It's nice to see the first lv 200 still going for the top.

Do I spy a Phantom in the top three? Biggrin It's awesome to see the first level 200 in KMS going for it too, I doubt that will happen in MSEA.
