Oldest anime you've watched?
#1
Yeah yeah, you know the drill.
Just think of this because of Kalovale; thread.
Mine's"Haha wo tazunete sanzenri" (I didn't even know this was it's name), I knew it as simply "Marco".
I gotta admit I didn't see this when it aired but my mom actually recorded this serie in betamax... YES FREAKIN' BETAMAX, I feel old..
What I remember the most was the final episode.
I CRY EVERYTIME. AND I MEAN IT. One of the SADDEST anime of all time. Poor mom Sad.

Oh forget all that, Doraemon was originally drawn and published back in the 1970s.

Not sure, probably Gundam (1979)

Wow, this is difficult, it's probably the original dragonball though. But what about studio ghibli films? hmm.

Close second is Akira (released in 1988) but, I actually watched it before the original Dragonball. So in terms of which one I watched first, Akira wins.

Tenchi Muyo or Sailor Moon. Both seem to have come out in 1992

I think the oldest anime I have ever watched was either Akira or Golden Boy. Not 100% on that one, maybe some Miyazaki movie was older...

Might be Genshi shonen Ryuu from 1971. Watched it in the late 80s.

Counting the stuff I watched as a kid, it'd be Dragonball and Sailor Moon. The oldest anime I've watched since I really got into anime in general though, is Love Hina. Most of the anime I watch aired in the past 4-6 years or so. Not too fond of the older art styles.

Oldest as in I've been alive? First anime I watched was Fist of the North Star when I was six years old. It was also uncut, watched every episode with my cousin in a few days.

As in oldest anime I can say I've watched was probably Jojo's Bizarre Adventure or Fist of the North Star, the movie AKIRA or The Castle of Cagliostro.

I thought it would be My Good Neighbor Tortoro, but it seems Dragonball came out earlier.

Speed Racer definitely.

There are other anime that prolly are older, but IDK how you called them in USA and in any case, the time difference must be minimal.

If we're going original air date, according to Wikipedia, then it'd be Dragon Ball / Z. Otherwise the older animes I've watched are:

Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball Z
Tenchi Muyo
Yu Yu Hakusho
Sailor Moon
Detective Conan
