THANK YOU. Someone else who understands me.
Not just maps, monsters and items as well.

Yugidude Wrote:excuse my ignorance, but how exactly does being able to tele to maps = insta L200?

Long story short: Player gets free hyper rock, teleports to an old and otherwise inaccessible map *insert shenanigans* = free exp and level exploit.

Since I missed the event I only just recently got to go to the old Maple maps, now they're removing them?

Sadness.

You know how you level up when you skip the tutorial? Imagine if you could keep doing that.

That's kinda weird, I remember skipping the tutorials before and starting on victoria island at level 1 >_>

I don't think Nexon really did patch the exploit; they simply blocked it off by disabling the old maple maps.

Perhaps they'll re-open the maps in the future, if/when they do patch out the tutorial exploit. =\

you know what funny... is that hacker/player waste all their time getting to 200 for nothing..... they waste their time and their acc for nothing
what did they gain from this glitch? ... lol nothing they all got perm banned ... even some legit player try for fun just to gain 1 level they got perm banned too lol

Oh god, this is the stupidest solution possible for that bug.
a) why is it +levels instead of "set to level 10 if lower"
b) why can a character accept it more than once
c) why is it even in Old Maple's maps, it wasn't there when Old Maple was available to players

I still warped often to the old maps for Jr balrog and such and show people around.
I'm not in any danger right? Also, now that it's patched. Could someone explain how exactly you would do this exploit?
I dont see any harm in telling now tbh.

>Make "Explorer" character
>Get to level 13 however you like
>Accept tele rock gift
>Search "Southperry/Amhearst" and it will show you the old maple island map, where you click on Southperry
>Board ship to old Lilth
>Take portal to Sleepywood/save Sleepywood on tele
>Use mirror
The mirror takes you back to the tutorial screen (after you DC and relog) where you are asked if you want to skip it or not. If you accept, you gain 6 levels and go back to Lilth.
>Use tele rock to go back to Sleepywood
>Click mirror again
>Repeat

I was concerned as well so I logged onto a character that's in Old Maple, and it's fine. Didn't even get ejected. Granted, it's not a Beginner.

From which one can see that this could have been fixed easily without blocking all of Old Maple.
For example, have the "do you want to skip the tutorial" question not appear if you're over level 10.
But Nexon always prefer the fix that takes away as much of the fun as possible.

And there goes another set of maps to get blocked off my hyper teleport rock.

To be honest, the only reason I bought it was to warp to old masteria/maple, so thanks a lot exploiters.

I was there on my shadower post-maintenance. Old Lith Harbor and everything. Took the portal-cab to "Henesys", which took me to real (not old) Henesys. I don't know about normal portals, though. I doubt family tele-ing would work, but would you mind trying? I don't know what else would let us enjoy Old Maple.

Trust me, family tele won't work. Once they've blocked out a place (old CWK maps, RGTS, VPQ, etc), it's impossible to re-enter if you've left it.

I will admit I laughed SO hard when I saw this for the first time on youtube. Of all the shenanigans you could be doing, getting ported back to the tutorial maps to level up again is hilarious.
