False bannings galore.

Some of the afk bans could be from GMs catching someone hacking and banning all accounts or banning someone later after recording evidence of them hacking.



This doesn't account for the Empress/LHC/aliens/w.e bans of course. And a more likely explanation for a lot of the afk bans could be lag + other conditions (maybe lag + hacker on the map).

I lag a lot when I have over 8 soul seekers balls and I have like +20? who knows.. at empress, but I haven't gotten banned maybe because I empress early in the morning. I think some GMs are just being retarded, so if you run into one of them, bad luck.

A question to all who were banned at Empress: When during the run did you guys get banned?

Two of my characters disconnected right as Empress was summoning the monsters from HoH. This cause a huge lag spike and froze my Maple window. I've asked someone else who was banned, and he said that he was banned just like me. If this has also happened to you guys, then this could prove useful to add into our tickets.

i tho auto ban is never perm ban.... and perm ban only handle by gm only?

Maybe the GM is unaware of the capabilities one can do towards Cygnus.
MAYBE, just maybe they were actually hacking.

I'm just sitting here, waiting to see what Nexon's response may be. Whether it's the "video proof" that they provide or they ban on the spot, we have yet to see their reasoning. However, we may not even be able to see that happening knowing how Nexon doesn't share it with the public all the time, only on rare occasions.

Was this during the adv knight summon or afterwards when the mages summoned Ifrits? I've been getting lag from the Ifrits (100% of the time) a lot more than the Adv Knights (very rarely and screen doesn't really freeze).

During. My screen froze right as she summoned them (so she was still in the casting animation). This has happened only since v.128.

The last thing I saw was something like this.

A couple of weeks ago, somehow (I don't know the details) a friend (Toto in khaini) got all his characters deleted. How? No idea.
But he sent a ticket and they responded him that it was a mistake and compensate him with 500k MaplePoints.

Out of curiosity, how are these people even getting into Empress with all the map crashers?

Interesting. I haven't heard about them doing serious compensations like this anymore. I HAVE, however, heard of a few extremely rare cases of players having every character on their account randomly deleted when they log on. Maplestory just seems so crazy these days, nothing you do is safe anymore. I can't even imagine something like that happening to my account.

Can't tell if you're being serious or not, but if you are, I don't think the map crash is around any more.

While 500k CAN'T compensate a few 200's in his account.
I think he's very happy with that OP Angelic Buster he has and he has around 150k~ just waiting for Xenon.
So yeah, I wouldn't mind either.
