Maplestory survived off content the first 3 years of its creation. By focusing simply on classes, especially ones that can be made in 200 under 18 hours, it's a short time flare, a long term management problem.
Considering its a free game with a fairly large profit margin, I'm just going to assume awhile. Not that it matters to me, the game died for me back in 2010.
