EXP nerfs in the current KMST Patch.

Imitazion Wrote:How about being patient and give nexon a chance before you make the devil out of them.?

Someone above: I have a couple of friends that never spent a dime on the game, and they benefit greatly from the new stuff. They can kill the bosses, but not without effort.

Because I have played this game long enough to see good patches come and then get nerfed right after. Before these nerfs were even released, I called this like 2 days before cause I know nexon's process of doing things. It happened with LHC, aswan hell mode, stronghold (multiple times),etc. Sorry If I have seen enough of this to lose faith in a company like nexon.

If we get some good high level content that will make leveling decent, hell great. But I highly doubt we will, seeing how nexon's main focus for the past few years have been new jobs and not high level content.

so nexon finally does something that makes the game a bit harder like many people want, and we start complaining.
makes sense.

No matter what Nexon does, someone is going to be unhappy. So many of us are used to years of shitty service and updates that lack worthwhile content, so now many of us fear the worst whenever Nexon does anything. This community is delusional and definitely self-harming most of the time lol.

Even disregarding what the heck "making research" is supposed to mean, you're funny. Making unfounded assumptions about people who disagree with you is no way to act if you expect people to actually listen to you in a discussion.

But just for the sake of humoring others who might read this, let us take Chaos Pierre as an example. He has the least hp of the root abyss bosses at a mere 63 billion. You can go take 6 people with you and he has a 20 minute timer. That means that each member of your party is going to need to be able to do at least 8.75m dps while simultaneously not dying more than 4 times to carry their weight. Note also that he is physical strong, so all damage dealt to him is cut in half. I don't know what kind of definition of "normal" you have, but that sure as hell isn't anywhere close to mine. Currently in GMS, there exist classes that couldn't do 8.75m dps even with infinite funding.

and also to make level actually mean something again rather than just pure damage.

This so much I don't even need to comment anymore but I will since I'm so narcissistic.

Really, though, such a huge amount of the population no longer considers level 200 an accomplishment that making it harder to get to the max level will now prompt players to actually see the dedication put into leveling.
And no, the bosses aren't impossible. Just because they aren't SOLOABLE doesn't make them impossible. Now zak might actually take a party to kill. Good.
Same with reaching cap level. Not impossible, just difficult.

i did some math on how many days it would take to reach level 250 from level 200 which is 100 trillion exp
assume you train all day non stop for 24hour u wold max gain 20 bil exp per day.... that is about 5,000 days which is about 13 year 9 months of training non stop at 24hour at HoH

A xenon funded with equips obtainable without money can do this.

Yes.
I bet a sniper could do it too. I don't see the problem.

*sigh. Not just overshadowed by new classes, but completed outclassed by my counterpart. Man I hope 5th job is good.

Just increase the difficulty and EXP on all the PQs by a HUGE amount, apply party play in every map (While also nerfing party play's EXP bonus a little), and nerf LHC/Stronghold/The hotspot training areas, and I'll be happy. I'm just tired of the leveling "Guide" being so linear. "Skeletons --> CDs --> Scarecrow ---> Jester ---> MP3 (Or aliens) ---> LHC ----> Stronghold" is what I tend to see a lot of (Though I'm probably missing something in there).

Oh, and those cubes. But I know those arn't leaving (ever), so I'll have to get over that.

Even assuming you can provide some evidence to back up this statement, you'll have shown that ONE class out of more than 30 can achieve it. One (relatively) overpowered class does not a balanced or good game make.

Also you'd do well to remember that a "normal" person does not simply merch their way to 10b+ without spending money on the game (and that's generously setting the bar REAL low on the amount of funds it would take to achieve that kind of damage).

You forget market difference.
Unlimited made great items dirt cheap, and mesos are incredible easy to make.

I'm a little upset by the fact that this is happening on top of the new level 250 cap, but it also means that I get to play and enjoy my Evan for a while longer <3 (and also my Angelic Buster and Phantom)

one other reason there has been a massive increase in 200s is due the new stack hack. go through bera HoH channels, at least half have a kaiser in them hacking. they level pretty fast because of it Sad

i hope its fixed soon

Like I said, this new 'high level content' best be worth nerfing exp of bosses as well as normal monsters (among other things like cutting pq runs and inter dimensional raids in half, deducting the time in evolving system, etc). Ever since news of Unlimited came through the pipe, I've been becoming more and more discouraged. Tongue

Take 2 off-stats e.g. Str and Dex for a mage, and add that into your primary line. That's before potential. See how much your damage jumps. If that's not called OP, then it's called sick.

Although Nexon is doing this rather poorly I do like the direction this is going.
May be hope for this game yet.

Why cant they just add decent end game (nonboss) content and areas already? They raised the cape, so what are they waiting for? There is very little besides the future areas and the end of ToT... I would much rather explore new areas, quests, and storylines than get to lv250. I wish they could come up with more and better theme dungeons, maybe make them a bit longer and story focused?
