Right before a cube sale. Expected..

I never know when is best to cube-- during one of these or the sale. I'll just wait for the sale this time.

I'll just wait for the sales, i never get anything good during miracle time anyway :<

The chance to increase rank would need to be 40% more than normal to make it worthwhile to cube now (instead of waiting for the sale), right?
Anyone remember the % increase for tier increase or anything?

Edit: Unless you take into account that you can use regular Miracle Cubes which are /technically/ at the sale price that Super Cubes will be at (11.4k for 11 vs. 12k for 11)? Would that even matter? I think I'm putting too much thought into all this, though.

From my experience, it's much MUCH easier to go from Unique > Legendary during a miracle time. I only ever cube for tiers during these events now. The last 3 items I cubed; my Reverse DB mask took 1 cube from Epic > Unique, and 2 cubes from Unique > Legendary, my Tempest Ring 3 to go from Unique > Legendary, and my Dominator Pendant 5 to go from Unique > Legendary.

I'd recommend taking advantage of the event. I was using Super cubes, if that makes a difference.

I'm taking my word for it too! Going to try and cube some epic shoes to legendary for combat orders.

Yes i'm taking your word for it too. I have my sword that is epic and i want it to be unique. I dont buy that much nx so i wont be cubing in huge bulks. =|

Those stories of ''Dude I used over 250 super cubes to get it legendary'' scare the crap out of me..

I would say rates are at least double during an event, so better to do it during event + no sale than sale + no event.

I got 5-7 equips from rare or epic to legendary with ~200k during one of the events.

I used 15 cubes last weekend during the surprise Miracle Time and my epic item stayed epic. I think I will take my chances with the Enlightening cubes coming on sale hopefully the 29th for 40% off.

Hmm... I still have 7 things I need to rank up from Epic... I think I'll just wait for the sale and try my luck there.
Last time I tried using Miracle Time I used like ~20 Cubes on a Dragon Tail Mage Sallet and it remained Epic so I don't really trust these things.

Well it got me decHB finally. Would have liked a legendary ring, but whatever.

I got epic > unique in 4 cubes, didn't get to legendary though. 1 pack was my budget!

tyrant boots went from rare-unique in five cubes
staff went unique 15% total damage 6% int leaving it like that


and that sums up my experiences

11 super cubes later, my item went from Rare to Rare, so I'm just gonna wait until the cube sale I guess
