Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)
byakugan Wrote:I hope they explain how fighting each other to near death will teach Kenpachi the art of the sword.

I believe the whole point is to help Kenpachi actually listen to and speak to his sword.

Which I hope they explain, cuz it makes no sense so far.

Not even he knows what happened. By her last words in the chapter it seems she will make him believe she's killing him in order to help him grow stronger. INB4 no Bankai but just a bigger reijatsu.

They should just pineappleing date. This is the first time I've seen Kenpachi talking about respect and admiration for someone. Thus its obvious Unohana is the only one that can subdue Kenpachi. They should hook up and adopt Yachiru as their daughter and over Rolleyes.

P.D. It's the first time in a really long time I see Yachiru in the manga.

^ They would make a cute couple. Two yanderes with each other, perfect match forever.

I honestly can't see either one of them dying honestly. Kenpachi for sure isn't dying because he is supposed to get his power-up, and I can't see Kubo killing off Unohana just yet with all this reveals.

But, KUUUUUUBO! And such.

Well you got a point. If he didn't kill Byakuya after he was made wackamole with his own Bankai and all that drama, it would be such a plantain move to kill Unohana after this.

Here is a thought: Kenpachi might be the materilization of the zanpaktou Unohana once threw away, because she was sick of all the violence that came with it. It makes sense considering the whole talk about respect and kenpachi's attitude. Now that pomegranate has hit the fan, they need to be reunited again, to bring out their full combined strenght.

Wow that would also explain why he hasn't (or cannot) learned bankai. Them fusing would be kind of silly though.

They are really playing this up with Kenpachi holding himself back this entire time simply because no one can even compare to him and he loves fighting and doesn't want to just kill off his enemy, but I really hope when he comes out on the other side of this he just doesn't get crubstomped by some big bad.

Anyway, decent chapter in my opinion. Obviously really trying to build up to the reward.

Well, surprisingly it all makes sense and assembles well together with events that happened before this arc. I always wondered how the pineapple it was that Ichigo could nearly kill Kenpachi in mere shikai and then Kenpachi could overpower Noitora.

I gotta admit I'm disappointed though. Looks like there will be no Bankai, not even learn new techniques. He will just release all of his hidden power and (more plausible now) kill Unohana.

Yeah, and then Ichigo will STILL surpass him just by being...well, ichigo.

Come on, give freaking Kenpachi a Bankai, or a shikai, or at least convince him into using both hands to hold his sword. Just unlocking his innerr powers so he has even more Rejatsu is freaking stupid...

At this point I'd be happy if he would use Kidou.

Well, I'm hoping that when Kenpachi releases all his power and realizes how strong he is, he will then want to learn to control it. I hope he will develop a new fighting style to go along with his new strength.

This is exactly what I don't want to happen.

Don't worry, kubo will take the laziest possible method. Kenpachis fighting style won't change at all, he won't get a bankai , he'll just be "stronger" with no visible proof or skills to show for it, he'll just beat whoever he ends up fighting next.

Then what result do you want from this?

Kenpachi refuses to learn kendo, or even use both hands on his sword because "it is not his style", even though that multiplies his power by 2. you think he will want to control whatever power he unlocks now or learn anything new? He will just get more full of himself and keep swinging his sword with a hand like the maniac he is.

At least if he learned Shikai, his sword would look different while he wacks it around...
