Is this High School or College?

I refuse to buy books for college if I can avoid it. Most classes don't even use them except for homework. What a colossal wast of money if they don't. As a result, if I can't find it online, I typically try to get the assignments from a classmate.

I don't get Financial Aid, so having to spend an extra $100 - $150 for Homework on top of my tuition already is bullpomegranate.

Or did you mean actually copying answers? No excuse to copy an entire assignment's answers...

Yeah, that's why I never buy books until I'm absolutely certain that the class will require them. They're such an excessive waste of money and I could use that money for something else instead of that crap.

Buy international books when possible. Might have to check the difference with a library copy, but it's usually just the homework questions.

Speaking of trains i absolutely hate people who dont have basic train etiquette.

- Hold the handgrabs not the railing itself
- Dont freaking lean on the poles.
- Move in! theres a peak hour crowd right behind you, do you think its funny to be stopping wherever you wish. As long as there is space, move.
- Do not push other people in just so you can squeeze into the train, if there is no space, it means there is no space.
- For gods sake dont insist on watching your stupid drama on your phone in a packed train, youre taking up space.
- People who block the fucking door.

Different forum by the way, but FFS if your way of communicating involves putting some generic Asian actor/actress GIF in every reply and uttering some equally generic one-liner it should come as no surprise that you'll find some early red packets flying your way before Chinese New Year since it's stated in the rules that thou shalt not spam up the forum with irrelevant pictures and doubly so for spamming your replies with animations that are as annoying as the signature you have.

Specific example but this applies to everyone who somehow thinks that they can do something facepalm-worthy and get away with it because it's creative/their rights etc. You're online and in a moderated area, it's pretty certain that you don't have much in the way of the latter and the former should not be used as an euphemism for a load of bull unless you're so lacking in that too that you're regressing to the level of cavemen painting pictures. Oh, wait.

It reminds me that facebook, reddit, and new 4chan are ruining the internet, and I feel a pit of despair when I continually re-realize that old 4chan will never return. 2005-early 2006 /b/ was an incredibly fun community to be a part of; even the spam was more intellectual than the deepest posts on the current site, if that makes sense.

Kind of hate it when a lecturer tells her students online that lecture is cancelled only after the timing for the lecture is already over. I mean, what's the point in telling us that when those who went for it would have already wasted 2 hours in the lecture theater waiting for a non-existant lecture.

Having to share Kitchen/Bathroom with the rest of the students on the dorm floor.

I'm not like an ocd-clean freak, but leaving food caked on the stove and counters is just gross. Leaving unwashed dishes for days at a time is gross. Leaving the sponge full of water IS GROSS.

My floor has one unisex bathroom/shower along with separate showers/bathrooms for the guys and girls.

I personally try my best to go shower shortly after the janitor cleans up in there for the day..that way I don't have to deal with other peoples' nastiness.

I couldn't tell what's worse shower in the same bathroom with guys or girls.
Guys tend to leave their dirty clothes on the floor, the toothpaste opened and their facial hair all over the washbowl.

Say what? I've always seen memes as something that is created on the internet and then becomes popular on the internet. While that phase was used even before it was first used on the internet.

It's like saying that a person calling something "radical" is a meme because it suddenly became popular on the internet despite being used before the internet.

People who stand in the middle of stairs having conversations. I don't mind it so much that they're having a conversation with each other, but there have been a few times that I've walked up a flight of stairs trying to get to class and then there's a group of two or more people standing there talking and blocking the way of anyone trying to go up or down. I'm pretty sure a few of the people I've seen doing this were aware that they were blocking the ways of people trying to get somewhere, but they still refused to move until they were done with whatever they were doing. I've noticed this mostly only walking up narrow staircases, but I've seen some pretty big groups of people clogging up some larger staircases too. It's really fine if you want to have a nice chat with each other, just don't clog up a small staircase doing it, people besides you need those stairs to get somewhere.
