How was I supposed to know much Ambition one of the bosses gave? But at least now I know that SP has a database. (I've always head straight for the Extraction section on the forum).

Not knowing it was in the database and then finding that out is the point of some of these questions. To learn what the site has to offer and then maybe register and/or donate. If they didn't want to use the database there are various other resources out there for them to search.

Well, I know there's a Database now after checking this thread. I saw the event button flashing, which caught my attention before I checked the forum.

EDIT: My initial question was rhetorical, if that wasn't obvious.

Also the point is that the people most familiar with what we have and how to use it, aka loyal members and lurkers, are the ones who will answer the questions most easily.

Is there any way to get a different set of questions? I ended up getting a meta-question about Southperry's history that I can't seem to find an answer to in the site news archives.

Edit: after half an hour of searching, I finally just guessed and got it.

I think the key to this event is not taking it personally when you get one wrong, no matter how much time and effort you spent making sure it was right. I ain't even mad, it's fun and interesting (the questions are way better thought out than I thought they'd be).

It'd be great if at the end of the event you can see what questions you got wrong though. Also if we can keep going after the 35, just for entertainment value?

His problem is host related. You should be able to see why he's being rejected if you look at his mod-info for that post.

Er, I have a problem with one of the questions. It asks me what job archetype can use a certain weapon, but there's a different version of that weapon for every job.

if everyjob could use it, then its probably not that answer, as it shouldnt be a choice if i had to guess.

The thing is, there are 5 answers, one for each job. The weapon comes in all varieties. I basically have to make a lucky guess at this point.

but isnt there another weapon thats only a single job version? technically that job should be the more correct answer as it can use both.

Nope. I don't want to say what it is, because I don't know if I'm allowed to. But the weapon comes in a variety for every weapon in game (more or less), and they all have the same name.

Put the exact name into the Database and search equip category. That's your answer

No where does it mention it can be traded with a PSOK, unless my Firefox is hiding something from me.

I understand I got the Vifennis wrong, because MapleArchive didn't mention it being "tradeblock".
