Root Abyss Boss Mechanics

I answered my question just now, it's also the 24 hours message. I just finished a Von Bon. Also, it seems that these bosses are watched just like Magnus, I didn't notice the message yesterday, but I just got a "X cleared Von Bon at 01/17, 12:54. Record saved." I guess that makes it easy to know when I can go in again if I just SS it.

Also, are the boxes class-specific? I noticed from the SS's that Kaisers only got Warrior helms and a Archer got an Archer glove? Were those just coincidences?

I've gotten stuff for different classes. Was just a coincidence.

I got those clear messages yesterday, but only twice on Vellum for two of my characters. I'm just unsure if anyone else in the party can see it.

I'm a mage and got a pirate overall and a thief overall recipe, so they were just lucky.

There's actually a trick to this. Make sure none of the party is too close to the mirror. When the mirror seduces a player, their image will flash on the mirror for a second. That's the rest of the party's signal to attack it without bias.

Hero's Will works, too.

Tons of sad maplers will not be able to farm Queen anymore and half if not more of that half can't do Vellum either because of no quests (stuck on Queen).

Weird, kMS removed entry to Bloody Queen too. I guess with patching the same things at the same time comes getting glitches at the same time

Pretty sure you can do them out of order. Because I did that yesterday (I'm still technically on the 2nd boss or something even though I've killed all 4).

A neat but simple trick that might help some people. With the vague message of "someone in your party has already completed it for the day", when trying to figure out who it might be do the following

1. Set up a party all by yourself
2. Try and enter and see what message you get

If you can't go, it'll give you that vague message about someone in the party already beat the boss for the day. Otherwise it'll say something about "I should be able to find ONE poor sap to come along with me"

It helped when a friend and I were going to duo and we both thought we were cleared to fight the bosses. Not sure how the reset works exactly as we both should have been fine to go.

3rd and 4th boss will not unlock unless you have the quests done for them or have them ready. Queen is locked out thanks to nexon so new comers can't complete the quest. After you've done all 4 on the first day, you can access any areas out of order.

Not true. I'm stuck at the 3rd quest, yet I was able to be part of a Vellum party. Similar thing yesterday: I killed Pierre first before killing Von Bon while having the first quest active. I also managed to face the Queen while having the second quest active on that day.

It is unfortunate that everyone that didn't get the bosses all in one shot yesterday are screwed from finishing the quest line until the queenie is unlocked. :c

I can confirm, I forgot to accept the Queen quest before combating her. Beat her and wandered to Vellum, I wanted to finish those quests today, alas, my Queen won't see me.

The pierre boss (teapot) can be faced out of order which is the 2nd boss. Afterwards from there you probably start bugging up the entries. I just tried to drag someone into Vellum that didn't even kill the Queen yet nor have the quest done because she just started today and the gate told me she cannot go.

I killed all bosses but queen on my mihile without doing any quest....

I shall retract my statement on the abyss bosses not allowing you to enter without quest. But since the notice did appear previously very early in the day, I brought a friend for Von Bellum and Pierre which was both successful entries except vellum which was telling me someone did not complete the quest, and she only just started the quests. Same issue remained for me the 1st day of the patch I sent my DS inside out of order only to find out he can't go to the vellum because he's still stuck on the 2nd boss.

My conclusion is A) they fixed it recently or B) the boss rooms sometimes bug incorrectly or correctly.

I brought someone into Vellum about 3 hours ago right after he finished quests on his mule. We did Von and Pierre first though if that makes any difference.

Read post #97, it bugs a lot easily. I've tried to recruit randoms for 20-30mins on another character only to find out that idiots with no keys and idiots that didn't reset yet and don't even realize it. I had to use a expedition system and try and kick out people 1 by 1 or 2 at a time to guess and figure out what was the problem. It even gave me the notice that someone did not complete the "world tree" quest yet which makes no sense whatsoever. The final conclusion that I reached at the end of the day was, some idiot didn't even have a goddamn key to go in. This is all on the first boss btw, the clock boss Von Bon.

What I'll probably do from now on for random people in ch 1 is do what Kaasoljoyyx said to do. Problem is when nubs refuse to reply to your answers or just don't understand a damn thing.

Well, when fighting Vellum I dced and when I came back my party already killed it. I thought I could go in again with another party but it seemed like that kill actually counted towards the daily limit of 1, which is bs.
