[Complete] The maintenance is complete as of 3:55 AM Pacific (6:55 AM Eastern). Cash items in your inventory have been extended to cover the amount of time the game was unavailable. A 2x EXP and Drop event will be starting soon after the end of the maintenance, and it will run until 6 AM Pacific (9 AM Eastern).

A modification to the autoban system has been made, and numerous players found to have been autobanned in error have been unbanned.

Still banned. Would have fallen out of my chair in shock if otherwise.

Let me guess, they randomly selected 10 or so to unban out of the hundreds unfairly banned in the past month.

At least maybe getting banned again the next time I try training on 2x after the ban expires will be less likely. Maybe.

EDit: Actually them even admitting unjust bans can happen is somewhat of a breakthrough. I hope no-one gets in trouble with the bosses for posting that.

Well, my HS mule is now unbanned .

Can't speak for other servers, but Khaini CH 4 died yesterday and I was locked out of the game for awhile with the "ID already logged in" error.

There are still lag waves every now and then.

Didn't really notice anything on Scania, so that's pretty surprising to hear. (However, I did that same error for a little bit... but my other friends were just fine).

As for lag waves... Average Maple server behavior is average.

You mother fucking basterds! They got my hopes up over nothing. At least now there's a slight hope that I won't have to wait out the full 30 days...

To all the people yelling: "FIX THE STACK HACK!", and etc; There are hacks I've seen people use as of late that the community had sworn up and down were dead and patched for good as long ago as the game into its v30s. There will always be new exploits to replace the old ones. Don't get your hopes up, folks. I highly doubt it truly goes away for another ten patches, if even that.

There has pretty much never been a hack that has so thoroughly aggravated me as much as Stack Hack.

I can't get Top 10 gloves, hackers pretty much have the ranks locked up, people who might have had a chance at #1, can't.

I can't Empress, there's like a billion people there that just sit there autoclicking every hour, minute, second of the day, because all of a sudden, anyone with hacks and a level 17x Kaiser can kill her. Brought the prices on everything crashing to the ground as well.

Yes, it's true that there will probably be more exploits in the future, probably loads that'll be worse than this, but it's not too much to ask to have some peace from this specific hack that pretty much ruins the whole game for me at this point.

I just don't think they're capable of completely remedying the problem. If they patch it one way, someone else will find some other way to achieve the same results. Actually, I don't think I know of any hacks that were ever completely patched.

EDIT: Or rather, ones that have been patched without having new ones that do the exact same thing come along in place of them.

Also "Stack Hack" is essentially single-handily destroying the game and economy. At least in Khaini, legitimate people trying to make mesos off of Empress or other bosses have had their income effectively cut to 1/4th of what it used to be, before this hack. Nevermind the fact that barely any legit Empress groups can get into Empress, because it's being hogged by hackers, as well as being map crashed to prevent said legit groups.

I've seen that get fixed and unfixed plenty of times. We've had a few occasions where people would go "Duping is patched!" just for it to come back a few patches later.

Hopefully(?) it stays gone. I just don't believe that you could really ever foolproof a game thats this popular, widespread, and easy to get into.

But it's been completely patched for months now and no such "new" hack / exploit has ever replaced it as of today. Hell, it's only ever been "unfixed", because Nexon removed the coding to prevent such things from happening and they had to USC to put it back in. Hackers had nothing to do with that.
