...And where's the love for Dawn Warriors? We're completely useless compared to Mihile.

I don't understand why can't they just put all the revamps for the Cygnus Knights in at once. Seriously, that's just dragging things out.

January 31 is the first part of the Return of the Cygnus Knights which includes another system revamp (what Yoon said about meso). There's an animated video on the website but it says its coming soon.
There's also Aswan Liberation War revamp.

I wonder why GMS didn't use this video for their Root Abyss promo.
Root Abyss comes with Lv. 150 equipment. We get normal mode next week and chaos mode on the 31st.

Looks like some kind of kung fu fighter to me.

Which means it's probably...

That Thunder Breaker looks awesome.

This is really exciting, I'm surprised people aren't more excited about this. I can't wait to play my Blaze Wizard again. And I'm looking forward to seeing the revamps on Thunder Breaker, Night Walker and Wind Archer. If that character artwork is anything to go by, Cygnus Knights are about to become awesome.

I'll tell you why I'm not excited: I CAN'T TAKE THE IDEA OF GETTING TO LEVEL 200 BAWWWWWWW! Also, they really should have done it all at once because story-wise it completely doesn't make sense to revamp them one by one unless they had to retrain to make use of the new granted powers.

Which could make sense I guess? Orthodox martial arts are probably easier to train than ninjutsu and magic would, and there aren't exactly many ways to use a bow.

Swords though...I've got nothing on why this would take all that long. A switch to a completely different school of swordplay?

haha, true enough I guess.
Thunderbreaker i'm guessing is going to be the only Cygnus Knight available for about a month, until Wind Archer is updated.
(Wind Archer is confirmed to be revamped in February. Pirates and Bowmen getting love first, this is weird.)

I'm guessing that it would be less about Swords and more about Soul. They'd need to strengthen their soul by... meditating, or going on a journey or something.

It's possible that the order has something to do with how much their skills were altered. That being said I would have expected Archers to go first then seeing that there really isn't much you can do with a bow. Whatever it is, we'll see how it's done soon enough as I believe KMST's version should be out next week.

Training to summon floating astral bows to add multiple Final Attacks instead of just one.

Culminating in Unlimited Bow Works in 4th Job. Summons an obscene number of bows to rain arrows all around the player for a duration to damage all nearby enemies. AoE moves with the player.

I'm still kind of surprised that it wasn't actually the six or so years spent being laughed at, cursed at, whacking things with my bow etc. that made me quit my BM. Rather...NEXONNNNNNNNNNN.

Strikers > Wind Breaker > Night Walker > Flame Wizard > Soul Master

could this be one of the cycles for the rework?

So if it’s one a month then we have 5 months of Cygnus revamps to look forward too? Jesus.

I’m not really sure I want to level my Cygnus past 120… I hope there is no benefit to other characters and it’s just an option.

I wonder what it means for their explorer counterparts? Surely no doubt the Cygnus version will be infinitely better. Unless this revamp will give them more unique skills and make them into more individual classes then it would be alright I guess.
