Angelic Buster feedback thread

Oh my.

Just imagine, Eskalade will forever be with Angelic Buster.... 24/7... all day, all year and death 'til they part.

People wanted AB for her magical power of blowing stuff up with high damage. But the true magic to this class is the storyline.


Can't remember when I have laughed so much at one storyline. Angelic Buster wins the number 1 spot when it comes to funniest storyline.

I would like this class a lot better if I didn't have to switch between angelic buster and some worthless alter ego that can't even use skills every time I try to do anything.

another great line from Eskalade. happens rightb efore you perform your song with Edea and AB mentions how she liked being the center of attention for once.

I tried inputting everything he said, even adding and taking away caps and eventually variations of what it says in the quest.

When you talk to Eurenth and he asks to you input what he says in blue, type exactly that without any quotes if there are any. That worked for me. Don't write "my dearest Eurenth" or whatever, write "your dearest" etc etc

I am curious as to what damage I will be doing when I get my Tyrant gear and loveless shooter.

Did you make it to lv 200 first?

So, just noticed Lovely Sting's detonation will hit enemies close enough to the original target, including other enemies marked, who also detonate, etc etc.
Goes from "why the **** would I even use this as a recharge" to "oh gog why didn't I notice that in 2nd job?!". >_>

Eskalade: My power is nearly unlimited, or so it will seem to you. It requires some recharging, but I'll never require petty things like mana or fury from you.
<name>: Are you boasting about yourself?
Eskalade: What?! No! No, I... Of course not. I need to tell you what I will require...
<name>: Spit it out!
Eskalade: I, geez, look, you have a skill called Soul Battery. That thing is like a conduit for my full power. Once it's out, it'll take a while for me to use it again.
<name>: What?! You're just gonna burn out on me?
Eskalade: Do you realize how often you interrupt others? You should work on that. I'm trying to tell you that you can reuse skills if you perform a successful Recharge.
<name>: How do I do that?
Eskalade: Every attack you use has a chance to Recharge. You need to keep an eye on your attacks to see if it works, then you'll be able to perform another Soul Battery. Got it?
<name>: I'm sorry, I was looking at a butterfly and that was boring.
Eskalade: Listen to me! Not all of your attack skills are Soul Battery skills. If you use Recharge skills like Soul Buster, Pink Pummel, and Heavenly Crash.., you'll be in good shape.
<name>: Yeah, yeah, yeah, just mix it up and I'll be fine. I got it! Gah, you lecture too much.
Eskalade: You are dumber than I was hoping you would be...
<name>: What?! What did you just say?
Eskalade: Quiet, minion! I just remembered another thing I still need to lecture you about. You have some skills that boost your Affinity with me. The stronger our bond is, the faster your Recharge. So you have even more reason to ingratiate yourself to me.
Eskalade: Okay, NOW I think we're done here. When you inevitably get confused, open the Soul Battery window and use the little button there to get a rundown of the important stuff.

Eskalade: You're probably scared and confused by your awesome new powers, right? Well, I'll teach you a little something.
<name>: Could you make it less condescending?
Eskalade: This is the only way I know how to teach! Now take a look at your Beginner Skills, little brainless one!
Eskalade: The first one is called Day Dreamer. You can use this skill to escape to a lovely little hideout that I specially prepared for the two of us.
<name>: I... don't know if I like the sound of that. Should I be worried?
Eskalade: You're dying to know, aren't you? Well, you'll have to use the skill to find out what surprises await! Hahaha! Now then, The next one is Hyper Coordinate. This one's very important.
<name>: How come?
Eskalade: It lets you get a good look at yourself after you transform into Angelic Buster! The same window also opens when you look at your Equip window.
<name>: So... like a mirror?
Eskalade: Sort of, but waaay better. You can also alter your appearance! You can fix your hair, rearrange your face... that sort of stuff. Isn't that amazing?
<name>: ...That's kinda neato, I guess...
Eskalade: The final, and most important skill, is Dress-Up! Boy, do I like Dress-Up. It lets you change between old boring <name> and the magic, firey Angelic Buster! Dress-Up will happen automatically if you try to use other skills before you transform, so don't be surprised!
<name>: ...
Eskalade: That's kind of all I feel like explaining. I can see it's not really sinking in any way. Just... try that other stuff out on your own.

More dialogues later, my tiredness is keeping me from continuing, and the fact that I keep writing "escalate" despite thinking "Eskalade" in my mind is really annoying.

Tukkun, might I make a suggestion? If you're going to write down the Angelic Dialogues maybe write down what you get when you refuse a quest as well?

I forgot that the refuse button existed until I reached level 39, sadly. If I ever decide to play another AB, maybe. I don't write them down when I do the quests, but I take the screenshots and then when I'm done playing I write these as I wait for my Gale Gourds to fill, and consider the coins to be a nice little reward. Besides, it's tiring to type all this. Most of the refuse dialogues seem uninteresting so far though, except for one or two which were already posted in this thread by some other people.

I've started to take screenshots of forfeit dialogues though.

All of them? You can buy special mastery books from Gale for 83 tempest coins. I've already got Affinity, Soul Shooter, Star Gazer, and I'm halfway to Nova Warrior.
