I have school, after school activities, and I do chores when I get home, so I usually have about a hour a day to play MS. I'm trying to level a pirate, and the short time slot is making it difficult. Third job pirates look so fun, I think I might have to start leeching. I know I'm going to level 50 grinding and pqing, but I want a third job as soon as possible, so I'm not sure how much longer I can go without leeching.
Have any of you legit pirates ever resorted, or thought of leeching?

Nope.
I'm only level 41, too.
If you're tempted (you're obviously an anti-leecher) just keep in mind the price. It's extremely expensive.

I'm also very limited on time. I trained my pirate normally for about 50 lvls and used my bishop and 2 comps for the rest.

I agree with ClawofBeta.
Just pace yourself. Theres no rush to get to level 70. It's not like it'll not be there next week. Please just don't resort to such a lazy bullpomegranate form of "training".
Also, I'd like to point out something.

Please remember what you said. There's no point leeching. Enjoy the game. Don't try to get to a high level just to say you did. =P

Leeching is legit. The only kind of leeching I frown on is the kind where lazy person A pays or is friends with person B, and hangs on a rope for 4 hours getting EXP. Lazy Person A proceeds to brag to all his friends about it, and suddenly half of MapleStory is too lazy to train.
I don't think you should be leeching, though - you should get to enjoy your class as much as possible, and not shortcut up to level X.

Leeching is not only a waste of time and money, but also just lowers your shame.
You play the game to enjoy it.. Another person sitting their raising YOUR exp is no fun.

It takes away the sense of accomplishment.
If someone grinded so hard to level 70, they'll be as proud as hell.
If someone leeches to 70, they'll be like "oh yay finally 4 hours passed an im 70!!!!... wait wasn't I supposed to fee super good good about this... this sucks omg im gonna tell all my friends how greaet this is.... "
It's like, bleh. I'm 70. It's kinda boring since I didn't even try to achieve it, I leeched.

I still felt accomplished when I hit 70 even though I leeched 4 Bigfoots for a few levels in mid-6x, because I was still in charge of training my character, and I never lost the "work ethic" to stop training. Even if the Bigfoots never existed, I would have reached the same point I am at now. It may be significantly easier, but then you'd have to compare training with and without 2x. A lot of the people who are higher levelled than me and have not leeched probably grinded their ass off over Thanksgiving break on 4x. I enjoyed about 12 hours of that exp, and only 4 hours of 4x.
What I'm trying to say is, as long as you're the one training your character, it doesn't matter how you get there.

Leeching 4 bigfoots isn't exactly what the main guy is implying though. He's saying he wants to leech 50-70 and beyond.

I really could care less about feeling accomplished or taking the time to train 120 levels again. I got to lvl 135 before even 4th job came out on a priest, and I got to lvl 136 on a shadower almost always soloing.
I spent more time training than most people ever have, feeling accomplished from endless grinding is something I don't do anymore. I wanna be 4th job, and I want to do it in the fastest time I can. It's not like i'm paying someone to leech me. I use my bishop and 2 comps to train my pirate.

Also that. Although I don't think the TS already has a 4th job character, so that excuse goes out the window.

Hate to disappoint you, but 3rd job Pirates are the hell levels of Brawlerdom. Especially early third job.
And whats this about feeling accomplished getting to 70? I mean, at one point i would have been inclined to agree, but to me getting to 100 is more important, because then you are actually a third job character in practice not just in job description. Its like say "Oh ho i have a 4th job character" when its level 125. I still consider my main a hermit more then a NL.
Also, here is another discouragement for leeching 50-70, there isnt a whole lot to do third job, other then more training. If you cant get passed that without resorting to leech, then you arent ready for it. All you will do is bankrupt yourself leeching to 100, then say its too hard to level when suddenly you cant afford leech (which is 60% an hour on 2x then) and have to resort to regular training (20-30 % an hour, at least for me, with 2x) you are going to think its too slow, and quit.
And, outside of the ridiculouslness that is BF/Anego/Pianus leech, there really isnt anything to leech till 75. And those are payed by the kill, which may be hard to come across.
