Hello Southperrians!

Over the past month or so I have been throwing an idea around in my head. We, as players, run into hackers day in day out and I think there is a solution to be had.

I took the time and money to put together a website where approved posters can post video evidence of hackers in your server (somewhat ala maplenoobs).

I am currently looking for players in every GMS server who would be interested in doing this. I have no requirements for posting for your server, just as you see hackers and have time, record them.

Should you be selected, you will receive a YouTube account and an account on the website to post from. I plan on having the site visited by GM's (should everything go well), so hopefully it will be a success!

This is neat! But I do have a question.

Is there a quota you expect? How active do you expect each reporter to be (log in at least once every two weeks, etc.)? Woops, just read the paragraph about this. Unless you want to elaborate more I guess.

I have no quota for you to meet. I might do checks every month or so to see who is still posting and whatnot. If someone becomes inactive for more than 2 or 3 months, I'll demote them.

Considering I believe the issue with banning them currently is "We need video proof"...I don't see why it should matter who provides said proof.

Sadly, video proof is 100% required. That is the basis on which I have designed this website.

I'll consider it. My issue is the real problematic hackers aren't the ones botting. It's the ones hacking hard mode magnus, CPB, and empress on a daily basis. We can't get videos of those...

I completely agree. I want to go after the big fish, but they're amazingly difficult to catch.

I am going to initially have 3 or 4 slots open per server, and gauge how well it works. If everything goes smoothly, I will be working on a server team system with a server leader.

I'd say fraps, you only really need 30 seconds.

What Unicorns said, Fraps will do. I'm only asking for 30 seconds - 1 minute really. I know free fraps has a limit on it.

I'd change your image to a GM Kieth - when i first jumped on i thought it was you hacking - or just keep the server icons
