Anyone else lagging?

Today's x2 made me realize how infuriating this mob lag is. I had trouble defending my Aliens map, because I would screen freeze during the respawn and a few KSers would be able to wipe out 80-100% of the map by the time I unfreeze.

Here's hoping it's fixed by Kaiser's release. I really can't see myself fully enjoying him otherwise.

I don't spend enough time in town maps to comment on the town lag, but for me, besides the spawn lag, I also get lag whenever I use a skill and whenever another player enters the map. I trained a bit in a ToT map today, during 2x, and I could instantly tell -- without looking at minimap -- whenever someone came in, because the already-frustrating lag would suddenly become (and stay) even worse. Normally when someone else starts killing stuff in the same map, I either chat with them or wordlessly defend the map (depending on my mood), but the lag was the last straw. I gave in: "please CC".

Ever since the newest mini-patch, my laptop can't connect through GameLauncher. It took me ~40 minutes last night to finally connect and it's not my Internet (my desktop connects just fine).

I honestly don't seem to get any lag at all, aside from if I try to change channels in a town in Scania. So..

I notice it on and off. Sometimes it happens everytime I use a skill that hits more than 3 (I see this mostly with pierce), but on my luminous and NL it rarely lags.

Not getting any town lag either.

The only lag I get is whenever I train at aliens on my Luminous. I'd get some lag right before the aliens spawn so yeah...

I crash midway through awsan about 60% of the time. weither I do solo hard or party hard (by myself) with my luminous.

Having every kind of lag mentioned so far, this is not a playable game anymore.

Also, I can't travel from one town to another using planes. 12th time DCing on a attempt to reach Leafre. ; - ;

I'm having a pretty serious lag issue on any map where mobs are present. I don't get lag in-town or in the free market, but the moment I step into a map where monsters are present, I begin lagging as if my connection had died. However, I can still get whispers and buddy chat, I just can't respond to them. I can't use any skills, monsters stop taking damage, my character looks like it's stuck in midair from a non-lagging maple, basically it's as if I'm not sending any information out. I've tried reinstalling, using a different router, different computers (one without any firewalls), and nothing has worked so far. This is on any and every account I have, no matter what level or class. I've been getting it ever since Luminous hit the servers. Basically I can't do anything involving killing stuff without lagging out within minutes. There's a thread on Nexon forums with people having the same issue, here. Anyone else experiencing the same lag?

Dunno if they fixed it this USC or what, but you can hold Left / Right + Up / Down and climb ropes / ladders just like pre-Tempest.

That was fixed in the last mini-patch I believe. Or maybe when Luminous was released? I can't remember exactly. Been able to do it again for a few days though.

I've been getting some massive lag spikes on Scania when I decided to do some quests for the hell of it.

For some reason I get 1 second delay when looting during peak hours, even if no one is in my map.

I chose a bad time to get back to this game, I think. I sometimes lag whenever I attack monsters, but that isn't too annoying. What's annoying is that I always lag like hell near Cassandra/Gaga. Like nope, back to Transformice for me!

Might I suggest to everyone trying to do a completely clean reinstall of maple. I recently upgraded to a new mobo/OS and completely reformatted. I don't lag at all in maple now. Might just be from the upgraded specs though.

It's probably your upgraded specs. Because I constantly uninstall and re-install Maple on my laptop with a fresh v125 client (pomegranatety ass laptop) and it doesn't fix squat.

Sorry to be reviving an old thread, but is anyone else lagging anymore?

Ever since they removed the Happyville events, I'm perfectly fine in towns again (except near Cassandra but it's very minor now).

The lag on my girlfriend's laptop has gotten PHENOMENALLY worse, actually. So I have no idea what the heck the problem is. I'm still fine on my computer though.

I was lagging pretty badly while training during 2x exp, but I'm not sure if it was because of the server load or not. It seemed to be the worst when the monsters were spawning. I think it might have also been the quality of my internet (300kbps DSL) rather than the quality of my computer that caused me to lag.

Is it constant or an on-off thing? For me it seems to be an on-off thing.
