I'd laugh my ass off if that made its way to MSEA. Not only will our Evan friends be able to provide mesos*, they'll now be able to provide cheap cash...or it'd be something like 1 billion for one point which in case means they shouldn't even bother.

Given that we're about a year away from this update and hackers are now freely hacking Cygnus, I would say that is a fair guess. Forget the World Tree, we should instead be discussing if we should leave while we're ahead.

GMS has Cygnus hackers, EMS has em, CMS and TMS have em too.

Yes, but it is the combination of complete inaction, the scale of hacking and hyperinflation that makes it a possible death knell for us without mention of how the chamber may be shut again with the promise of weapons from the Music Box. That in turn jacks up the price of cash and a game in which practically no one can obtain mid-tier to end-game gear without forking out money into the hundreds or thousands is not a game where I want to be.

That may be the same everywhere too but consider that our cubes and supplements for scrolling are more expensive than the rest, hence why we're already paying more for such gears.

GMS has the occasional duper/exploiter/generator/whatever that smega's.

Damn it. I finally kicked my desire to play Maple and now they're going to let you buy Maple Points?
I will be keeping an eye on this. Although Cash Shop Trade would have done wonders for GMS and they still refuse to implement it. Hope for the best and expect the worst, as they say.

Hacking ain't bad in MSEA, well at least not that bad comparing to servers mentioned.

EMS basically runs by hackers, I don't know how long has it been since I saw a complete legit player there (oh, don't start the what-is-legit/illegit topic here).

GMS is different in terms of hacking compare to MSEA, MSEA hackers only hack to get stuff out of the game easier that's obtainable by others as well. GMS hackers have ways to get something non-existence in game (at least, not suppose to) and dupe the hell out of it.

The thing that made us MSEA players feel miserable is the company hosting it, I have zero idea why they did so many thing to make MSEA players so much weaker compare to players from other versions. Taking my captain as example, he's hitting 500k and people call me "pro" in MSEA, my KMS and GMS char hitting 700~800k easily, no one say a dam thing. My EMS character, too weak to be taken into account.

Why are we weaker overall you say? Asiasoft said we SEA players are VERY VERY efficient so they have to nerf everything, totally make sense.

It's true that hacking isn't as extreme in MSEA in terms of skill as we certainly don't have instances of duping as bad as what happens in GMS, but that matters very little when this game is quickly approaching the level where things are becoming unaffordable. Again, I stress that MSEA is worse off than every other server except for EMS mainly because expensive cash items, botting and removals of just about every item that could actually make us become more efficient results in a playerbase that can't even solo Cygnus and that opens Cygnus up to the hacker's advantage since they can and if prices inflate enough a lot of people are not even going to bother to question if they would buy these equips since they can't afford it or won't pay the price given by the legitimate players.

That in turn gives less incentive for people to cube if both MLTC and Cygnus are dominated by hackers as they wouldn't be able to earn the cash used and with the playerbase already getting pissed off with each additional nerf or instance of hackers taking over an event it means people are going to quit. There was indeed a time when GMS was unbearable for players as due to hackers being everywhere and the presence of tons of duped items but you can at least say that Nexon is doing something now while Asiasoft is doing jacksquat and would most likely close off the Cygnus chamber again while re-introducing the Music Box with the Cygnus Cane in it.

This is my perspective, at least.

EDIT: It's also worth mentioning that the hackers are now so emboldened as to achieve world records in party quests.

Unlikely, and unlikely. We spend too much money; and more possibly SEA might end up merging with CMS for proximity reasons, though obviously lots of people will rage at the Chinese.

I haven't played GMS for months now, but why are people badmounting GMS about hacking right now? I mean, last time I remember they dealt with most hacked equipment and have kept banning hackers steadily week after week. Sure it is far from over but considering Nexon used to ignore the situation before I think they finally got on track and should be cut some slack from here.

Well, I know one thing that kind of tips me over is that a day after Magnus is released, there are already hackers killing him and getting Tyrant equips. Basically only hackers will get the title too for being the first to kill Hard mode Magnus in each world.

So why is anything you're saying relevant to a situation that's only existed for like 10 days? Go to LHC. 80% of channels has a hacker with a leeching party in it. Go to FM. An almost equal % of high level characters' shops have an item that was from either hacking empress or hacking magnus. Pseudo No delay hacks being back and mob stacking hacks make it too easy.
