Unless the rough translations are off and he only created the method of reforging (edit:nope, not a mistranslation, the screenshot says clearly he created Zanpaktous), which, I don't think they are that off considering Hikifune's general attitude, black zero squad dude CREATED Zanpaktous. The first obvious question is, how the goddamn hell did he make it so all future shinigami, even ones he has no direct contact with, are able to bind a SOUL to their sword with no prior knowledge of the process?

Every single member of the zero squad explained in detail is more broken than the last.

The second half actually got us somewhere.

Basically we are going through a strange/weird training montage while showing off how weird and strange this super beings are.

She says "let me go prepare the dessert", then comes out all sexy. did nobody else get naughty thoughts from that? lol

This chapter somewhat answers someone's concerns about the sudden change of mood in the story after all that happened in Soul Society (not that it was necessary). It was entretaining.

I'm still rooting for Ishinn to be part of the Zero squad. I'd be awesome if Ichigo landed on one of the palaces and found out it's his father's.

I don't think he is anymore. I'd say you're probably right that he used to be though, and hence might have had a palace there (Since there are far too many islands for 5 current zero squad members, +1 for the king).

This chapter felt a little lackluster, I know it is setting up the next one, but I still wanted a little more.

For the first half the chapter I was cracking up. I couldn't get over how outrageous and exaggerated that guy's antics were.

Then this girl brings us to this pit and now we are in a whole new serious part. Some antics are nice, but I think Kubo is going a bit overboard on being silly then suddenly getting all serious.

I think it's great. The zero squad is the answer to a lot of question with the story so it works better if a serious, heavily foreshadowed situation is unexpectedly silly.

To me one thing is sure from this, Hitsugaya, Byakuya, that fox guy, Unohana... none of them will ever be part of the Zero squad. They are way too serious or rather too normal to join.

I wonder wether their swords will get remade or new ones will get created. Sounded like the former but they also said before zanpakuto can't be reforged. For now It would be awesome if Tensa Sangetsu showed up and kicked Ichigo's ass again.

I doubt Mayuri was wrong when he said Zanpakto can't be reforged completely. Still, knowing manga, he'll reforge them to be stronger than before.

Fucking bullshit.

They reveal Unohana as one of the strongest characters in the manga and now she is about to die?. Although its possible Kenpachi controls himself, because well, if he went mad and killed her there, the fears from the SS congress would come true, while we know Unohana isn't killing Kenpachi (he'd have been killed by Juha Bach).

All this reveals are pretty good and all, but I do hope they explain how the greatest killer ever became the greatest healer ever.

I hope they explain how fighting each other to near death will teach Kenpachi the art of the sword.
