Nope, until Nexon fixes the ability to unequip said item, you cannot cube it.
At least there's always the Dragon Emblem, but apparently it can't get boss damage, so...yeah.

Well I don't have definite proof. The only things I can go off of is word of mouth. A friend cubed his over 30+ times at unique+ and has yet to hit Boss damage and a person I know cubed his over 100+ times and never saw boss damage.
Either extremely unlucky or the Emblem cannot get Boss %, in which case the best would be % ATK / % Damage.

Srs... mine has 6% str (one secondary), and it's better than my 10% str helm due to all the other bonuses the hat has.

No, it wasn't. They changed it so you couldn't get Weapon Potentials on them early on in Tespia, however we can, but it seems like boss damage was removed as an option for them, so perhaps that's intentional.
Then around the time Kaiser was released, everything else having potentials was a glitch, medals, saddles, etc, but not Emblems.

need to innocence it and drop one of those +3 all scrolls on it with a 50% berzerk scroll, and then posi-chaos away!

Don't 50% zerk scrolls only work on armor, not accessories?
