Things in Maple Story that you tickle your fancy.

Well, the other thread is just too filled with pessimism, and I want to go to sleep on a high note!
So let's post thing in Maple that actually make the game entertaining, fun, or downright enjoyable! Glitter

To start off with what I like:

My Wild Hunter! Love everything about that thing. The jaguar, the look I've given the character, the fact that I still use every skill from second job onward to fit the situation, and the whole beast tamer feel the class has with its ability to catch and release monsters.

My guild! They're the main reason I keep playing, and I always like to talk with them.

The early game quests and content. Yes, the game could use some end game content (badly), but I really do enjoy the ride getting to the barren wastelands of levels 135+!

Those occasional passersby who take pity on the would-be noob they've spotted and help me out on my new characters. I especially like their reactions when I track them down at a later date to give them my gratitude and help them out in whatever ways I can while on my Wild Hunter!

Decking out characters with event sets and (with some of the current ones) making them look like pimps!

Collecting medals, monster cards and monster familiars. I really like doing this, and it's one of my main pass times in Maple when I'm not trying to train a new mule to power up my Wild Hunter.

The random, friendly people I often meet while doing party quests or Monster Carnival on new characters during events. Just recently I've met someone making a Luminous mule in Monster Carnival who happened to be fairly fun and more intelligent than one would expect. We ended up spending the next hour in Aswan with some of the other people who didn't leave the party immediately after the Carnival ended and had a blast doing so!

I enjoy:

- My Phantom! I was right to think that I'd love everything about this class, so much that I'm 80% on the journey to level 200.
- The music! Maple has a wide variety of music and some compositions even rival that of the best video game concepts.
- The graphics! I love it so much that every other online game feels odd to me, especially as moving is so easy in this game.
- Quests, storyline! While it's a bit cliched at places it's still decent.

I like the graphics rather. Spoiled me really, I came to expect the same smoothness in other games... which were mostly 3D... which... no.

Also some of the NPCs hurr Tongue

The Game and Communities like this Sorien, that what tickles my fancy. I been playing since 2006 and Even though I lost a level 200 I keep coming back to the game because I am a grinder, I love to grind. Classes come and go, they get nerfed and re OP, but is all about the game and the people who make this community. I don't know how to really explain it but I really consider MS one of the most successful games I know, Despite Nexon dropping the ball every step of the way.

The only Drawback is that many other communities like this have bite the dust and great bloggers have gotten bored and move on, but I feel that as long as southperry.net stays alive MS have a fighting chance to survive at least in the near future.
