I'd rather them not rollback and cause me to potentially lose all of my gear just for some silly race that would end in <24 hours.

I would agree with you if there was an OFFICIAL prize for being 1st lvl 200 in a server, but there isnt. Too many bad things could happen with a rollback to justify doing so. What gets me is 60% of the people who race to 200 are the ones who never boss and sit around for the next 2-4 weeks crying about there is nothing to do in game. I am going to push a character for a change, hell my hero was made pre4th job and is still 199, because the only thing I do in game is boss and events.

Yeah, that happened to me and 4 friends. We were all gonna powerlevel our Kaisers together, but seeing as myself and one other were the only ones able to get on for most of the server uptime, it really hurt our gameplan.

It coped with a big down time? Sorry sorry...I was under the impression that EMS always has issues with patches...
Does anyone have a link to the reported bugs after the kasier patch for EMS? I would love to see how many they had seeing as how it combined all those updates

Login issues = 95% of maplers can't open the game at all. They FUBAR'd the login server, like seriously. I don't even think it's related to the patch because I and a few friends were getting the issue yesterday, but it's definitely been exacerbated.

It hasn't technically been down all day. The patch ended, but there were login issues from the get go. Wasn't actually brought down until a few hours ago.
