Obviously, whatever they did to their network that was (and still is) throwing off all the non-Nexon status checkers, is also throwing off our clients. Unfortunately, Hime's response does not sound reassuring at all...

Lol at some of the replies there, people regretting skipping school cause of the bad servers at the moment. Their regrets are for the wrong reason, but it was expected that a good percentage of Maplers would fake a cold or stomach ache to their mommy's this morning.

No, you wouldn't. But not being able to connect to the login server can obviously be described as having issues with the login server.

The message you get is "We are unable to connect to the login server". Hence, login issue. Just as people call it "the firewall issue" when there is (probably) no firewall involved at all. It's just words. Nexon know what the error message means. Whether the people they currently have on duty know how to fix it, is a different issue. We must wait and see.

They said they were troubleshooting, which probably means they don't know what is wrong but are actively looking for what is wrong and for a fix.

As long as I can play sometime today then I'm fine.

5:22 EST, I think they'll be done soon since only YKMC alliance 1-15, broa 16 and login 03 are down. I really hope they fix all the server and disconnect issues.
