GMS Server Status Discussion - 2012 closeout

Guys, this is the server status discussion thread.

Has anyone found a way to anticipate when servers will be back up, or is it just going to be just trying to connect for the next hour or so?

I'm spamming on the status checker on Nexon's MapleStory website.

I got a feeling they're trying to get rid of "unofficial" status checkers and get people to rely on their crappy checker =\

Short of refreshing the server status page nope.
Seems close, it's mostly green right now.

Use the nexon status checker for now. It updates every 30 seconds anyway, and you don't need to refresh the page.

Nexon changed the way connecting to the server works or something, so GMS status is loopy right now. Just use the one on the official website for now.

Edit: Yes, it auto refreshes.

If you pick a server and a channel and mouse over one of the bubbles, it'll tell you the last time it refreshed the info (it happens at least once a minute).

Anyway, I'm betting on an extension since the maintenance didn't end early.

That's a pretty safe bet. Although I'm hoping with all my being it's not extended.

I dont' know who to believeeee SP server status is showing mostly green now. I'm afraid I still have the firewall issue and won't be able to get on for a spot.

Is game even up? I'm getting mixed answers of yes and no.

All server checkers are screwed up just wait for an announcement. Not even the Nexon one is accurate. All green on the Nexon site yet it's down.
