v.125 - Tempest: Kaiser Update Notes

So I have like 500 starsdusts on my Sniper.

And yay I can make my Phantom now.

Just wondering, where did you get them? i have 200 on my luminous, but monsters dont drop them anymore. I have been at monsters around my level (im lv143 and i have been at ToT) but they dont drop >.>

I think they suspended them from dropping because the event hasn't started yet.

//edit: Why don't/can't they make more stuff-collecting events work like the most recent Artifact Hunt? Where your points/stuff get counted, but no inventory space is taken up?

Or better yet just add an inventory tab specifically for Event items.

People who think the Kaiserium is good are severely underestimating just how freaking ridiculous Boss Damage % really is.

Exactly how much attack do you guys have such that a 400atk sword wouldn't boost your damage up by like, a lot? o.O

Can't remember what I have on my DS, but my Phantom has like 412atk total, with a 189atk weapon. A 400atk unpotentialed weapon would be like, 51% damage boost for me. My cane only has 30% boss damage. Not to mention the STR and DEX on the sword...

I don’t cube or do any serious scrolling/enhancing etc so I’d take that sword on my Kaiser any day.

Or they dont care to boss? You could use the Kaiserium for training and have a backup bossing sword too i guess. Or if you have horrible luck with cubes

well, not exactly the best thing for taking on the hard bosses that have a lot of ignore for example (except for heroes). but yea, since it's tradeable until equipped, it does make it a much better prospective reason

I'd actually get that sword on my Hero. I only have like 162 atk including pot and neb on my sword so 400 would definitely help me a lot.

So, after checking out Maple Archive, it looks like you have to purify the Cursed Kaiserium to get the Liberated on. Through a quest of some sort.

but in general, people who even have remotely close to 999 str have some gear to back it up. if you got to like ~195(pure str without bonus, then subtract backwards for equips) then i'd expect they have at least something to use. its not that its horrible, the people who can use it don't need it. and the people who want it cant easily get it.

Well, of the 3 classes who can use the sword, Kaiser and Heroes get 40% Ignore DEF from Combat Mastery and Unbreakable Will and 30% Ignore from the Leafre set, so that's like 70% Ignore DEF base right there. Kaiser can, of course, cube for Ignore DEF on their secondary weapon, and of course, use a nebulite, and soon Heroes can do the same. So, it's not that bad for them, at least not for Kaiser. And as for Paladins, I dunno, I'm a sword and shield guy, so *shrugs*. Blast ignores 30% DEF, but that's just Blast. And there's always Ambition too. Using the Kaiser sword isn't exactly gonna cripple them in the Ignore DEF department, except if you don't have a secondary weapon, which is both Hero and Paly, for now.

well, i'm not personally mad, but rather, after seeing 608 ST's, i don't think 400 attk unpottable weapons are that good.

Yeah they are not perfect and they can't even be compared a to a perfectly scrolled and potted scimitar but alas not everyone can afford to get one of those

I would add +8 ~ 12% from Deck set if you have full pirates.

Combat Mastery's 50% and Lumi's 10% so it's already 90%, ambition can take it to 100%. Which is why it's decent enough for Heroes.
