Given Nexon's reply on the Luminous change my money's on all of these changes applying to Kaiser and Angelic Burster and it makes sense because lots of KMS people did not seem to be fond of AB. A pre-emptive move to make classes more balanced before the patch that's supposed to nerf them, possibly?

that's what I'm hoping. because releasing a class that day 1 unfunded blows every other class out of the water is kinda jank.

That depends. I don't know enough about AB's mechanics to say if this is beating her to the ground since we're mostly comparing her to how she was before and that is obviously not a fair point of comparison. Also, Luminous seems OP so I do expect that his nerf would be heavier than that of his KMS counterpart...or maybe not.

It's nice to see that our version of Luminous will forever suck, and somewhat of a Relief that Burster will never shine, although its hardly justified for the unfunded/when Ultimate gets here.

It's difficult because Chinese translations don't work exactly. E.g. John (in the traditional pronounciation) becomes [yue han] (as in you-e = yue). There are a couple of demons possible here. Baal? Not so likely. Belial? Possible. Beleth? Balam? Balor? Belum...? Best is to have the Korean version as well, to provide more linguistic information.

I doubt it's going to end up the same way since it's mentioned that Cygnus herself went to find the World Tree in the twisted future while you're the one bringing the World Tree to Alice this time, but I'd say it's right on the money for Hypers because I could have sworn that I saw a light transferring to Shinsoo in the video.

The World Tree like the one Cygnus was supposedly looking for!? I give up trying to make sense of this and will wait for this to be out on next Wednesday at KMST.

I doubt it. While the possibility does remain as such the uproar of KMS players if CMS magically jumps ahead of them would be ugly and we all know what tends to happen when versions skip around each other.

Post nerf KMS AB is okay, it has a good %/s like the other pirates and its balanced on the damage/status resistance (every class should be). Compare it to something like Kaiser... post nerf KMS AB is balanced.
CMST AB sucks. 10% status resistance sucks at bossing, and her %/s will go down a lot since every skill was nerfed to around half the damage.

I dun think nexon really care. I mean asiasoft dun give a hoot about us too right. EMS got ahead of us asiasoft also sit one corner relax and totally avoid visiting their own forum.

It's not a demon... that's why I only suggested it but HighOnMushroom didn't actually use it, else Brazil would be after Nexon's neck (jk...).

Balam is a demon though... and I won't be tempted to try any further because Nexon has not actually used many true demon names as mob names... iirc.

Mightn't it be straight from source? English is hardly the be-all and end-all.

Damn. I was looking forward to owning everything (In the level range I bother to play the class for.) as a pretty pink half-dragon magical girl of destruction. I don't spend any money on the game so this would have been my one taste of power.

These nerfs are too severe. Especially considering that Kaiser and AB can't recieve Link Skills from anyone other than each other.

The only conclusion I can reasonably come to includes their reasoning for the Luminous changes.

Remember how they said they changed Luminous because of feedback from KMSers? I bet they all had similar complaints to us about AB. As a result, Nexon decided to make her a tad less insanely broken.

Somehow I don't think that these numbers are as bad as they look. I mean, she still gets a flat 30% Damage bonus for 5 seconds at a 50% chance on failed recharge, which sounds to me like a perma 30% damage boost based on how much one attacks, unless I'm missing something. And that's before the other buffs she has.

So in the end, she might be in line with everyone else in terms of power. I can't say that's a bad thing. I know there are a lot of people who were looking forward to her being broken for a few months, but too bad. Deal with it.
