Well if you guys are together and there's 'heavy petting' then the topic of sex is bound to come up. Talk it over & see where she stands with it, don't force her into it or else you'll be in SERIOUS trouble & you'll scare her off & if she doesn't want to do it then she doesn't want to do it. Edit: Sex shouldn't be taken lightly, there's a lot of emotion(not to mention you can get diseases if not taking the right precautions) that goes into it & it can complicate a relationship too, for women & some people anyways. Yeah granted that we're only human and we have "needs" & we want to pineapple like rabbits, but sex is, as stated before a emotional thing too. I remember my English professor saying "When you have sex with someone you're giving them everything of yourself, you're telling them that you'll never be this close to anyone like this again" & this was coming from a MAN. After having sex some people feel great/happy b/c they did it with somebody that they REALLY care about or it was the best 3 hours of their dam life or they feel like they shouldn't have done it b/c they weren't 'ready' or the person felt like they were being used. Use protection if you do decide to do it, we don't need anymore kids having kids(no offense, but it's the truth)

Even with a condom and birth control pill, correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not a girl, contrary to popular belief, lol...).., but even with both of those applied, isn't there still a 1% chance or something of the like of still being impregnated? I had Sex-Ed classes back then in High School, I just slept through most of them. <_<; Because iirc, I heard that condoms =/= safe sex, it just boosts the chances of 'not' getting impregnated for the female.

I'm sure a girl can answer this question better than most or all guys.

You're correct..Well in my high school they didn't really preach "abstinence" only, the teacher just said if you choose to do it, these are the consequences that can occur. And granted about like 10-15% of the population of my high school was full of preggers anyways lol hell we even had a day care on campus(for faculty & students) that was also for the early childhood development classes.

It depends on which birth control you use though (patch, pill, ring, IUD, Depo). Using both (condom for male & pill/patch etc. for woman) is actually a very good idea, it drops the rate of getting pregnant even lower vs. just using a condom(b/c they can always break & no, strapping up 2x isn't effective b/c BOTH can break as well) not to mention getting any STDs but I'm presuming that you would be with a person that is clean obviously.

Something could always go wrong with birth control, but it's better to have used it than not at all. At least take some form of responsibility if you're having sex.

There's always something that could happen, there's always that 1% chance that the body doesn't react to the hormones well. Like if the woman forgets to take her pill one day, that ups the chances of her being able to get pregnant. A woman CAN get pregnant even if she's on birth control but it's highly unlikely that she will IF she's using it correctly(taking it everyday).

At least take some form of responsibility if you're having sex.

A woman can get pregnant while on the pill and certain medications. Antibiotics cancel out the pill for some reason. Any doctor that is competent and knows what they are doing will ask a female if she is on birth control to make sure there are no issues.
