As a kid, I always loved this show! Is anyone else planning on watching it?
If so, I have the classic anime question; "DUBBED OR SUBBED?" (Subbed- French words, English subtitles, Dubbed - English)
For those who have not watched the show in a while, here in a basic outline of seasons 1-4
Spoiler
Season 1
No overarching plot, in the finale Aelita is Materialized
Season 2
In the season premier, it is noted that the group cantd shut off XANA without killing Aelite.
Group gets vehicles, and discovers Sector 5
Aelita is slowly regaining memory's of her past life, learns her fathers name is Franz Hopper.
XANA try's to escape lyoko, knowing that the group will eventually find a way to get rid of the virus.
In the season finale, he manages to escape to the WWW, and is freed from Lyoko.
Season 3
XANA is trying to shut down lyoko
He is trying to both destory the core of Lyoko, as well As delete the sectors one by one.
In the season finale, The group recruites William Dunbar, and he is captured by XANA. with Williams help, XANA destorys lyoko.
Season 4
Franz hopper gives Jeremy information in order to recreate lyoko, and him and Aelita recreate lyoko.
The group creates a ship, in order to navigate the digital sea.
Slowly, they go and destroy "replicas" of lyoko, that allow XANA to exist in the real world.
Eventually, Jeremy realizes that thier are more than 100 replicas
With Franz help. Jeremy creates a virus to destory XANA once and for all
Franz is sacrificed in the process (RIP)
EDIT:An update:
.
An English version of the show has officaily aired here. A quick warning though, for some reason, they started with episode 5, if you want to see 1-4 look at one of the common subbers here
The actors all look great with the exception of Odd, he looks too young. I hope they got much more budget this season so that we can get higher quality CGI.

SAME! I have been following this new season since about March, but I am posting now since we actually have some new content
(If you want to see more, go to Code Lyoko's Facebook page. For the last two months, they have been posting weekly teasers)

Thanks, typing from my iPad @ school, mobile YouTube is weird
I was a bit underwhelmed and scared by the Live Action at first... but then when I saw that they still go into their digital Lyoko forms, i felt ok.
Honestly, it doesn't seem that different from the cartoon, it's just higher budget. Plus it continues the story. I hope the music is the same.
Definitely going to watch it in french if I can though. the dubbing is horrible.

My thoughts exactly. Honesty, I feel like I'm gonna trust the creators on this one. Although I'd love to watch cartoon, Code Lyoko is code Lyoko. If th creators think this will be better, i will trust them. Hey, it might just turn out amazing
I honestly don't approve of this. It's not because of the live action, but the way it was planned. XANA just magically reappears, and Franz Hopper basically did sacrifice himself for nothing.
It just seems dumb to me.

Spoiler
I think a tentative story line that I heard was that a person reactivates Xana to use him as a weapon, and the two work side by side against the Warriors
Wikipedia Wrote:Alan Meyer
Alan Meyer is the secondary antagonist working alongside XANA. He works for (and is possibly in charge of) Deckard Inc. As Alan Meyer doesnt possess the technique of virtualization the only way he can counter the heroes in the virtual world is by virtualizing Ninjas, virtual fighters controlled by Deckard Inc. who fight alongside XANA's monsters. Alan Meyer also created Cortex. The replica is a territory connected to a Supercomputer. It has constantly active communication towers working for X.A.N.A.

Spoiler
1. who's to say it was? For all we know, this takes place 5 years later, and Franz's sacrifice stopped him for 5 years.
2. Maybe Jeremy can recreate him? I mean, in a digital world, saving a backup wouldn't be that much of a BS-Plot-Changer

Well, if that does happen, I may like this series. If not, no thanks.
