All that means is, instead of relying on an Angelic Burster for everything, you now rely on Angelic Burster AND Dual Blade for everything.

I see they changed Demon Slayer/Avenger quests in this update as well.

I assume this guy is the person from that image.

And the other npc's are the hooded figures behind him.

So have they added anything that compensates for all the buff bosses got and make them killable yet? Just wondering because this one should be part 3 out of the 4 or 5 patches KMS should be getting.

Why more buffs?, IIRC August-to-november patches were all filled with that. If what you're worried about are bosses after their last buff, why not adding new mechanics instead? like damage increased by number of players in a party/expedition? (I remember reading this one somewhere here)

No news on it yet but we all know a buff is coming and it's likely that the Heroes will get it first based on the promotional art featuring them along with DA and Xenon.

Right when we thought they finally decided on female Aran (NPC in Phantom and Luminous quests, used female Aran for the newer button on the character creation screen, etc.), they throw us a curveball.

.....That, or the Black Mage gave Aran an extra curse.

I want to apologize for being misleading. But in fact, the setitem was a bit misleading.

Are there active skills that can be applied to sets? Yes. They exist now in the data.
What are the set items? They're pets. Koala Bears. You know how for certain combinations of pets you can get an attack bonus? Yeah, that's what this bonus does.

Here's the set data:
Code:
165/setItemName 코알라 펫 세트
165/Effect/1/activeSkill/0/id 80000056 //Stat boost. Adds to padX and madX
165/Effect/1/activeSkill/0/level 1
165/Effect/2/activeSkill/0/id 80000057 //Stat boost. Adds to padX and madX
165/Effect/2/activeSkill/0/level 1
165/Effect/3/activeSkill/0/id 80000058 //Stat boost. Adds to padX and madX
165/Effect/3/activeSkill/0/level 1
165/ItemID/1/1 5000271 // 5000 prefix implies cash shop data. These three items are Koala Bear pets.
165/ItemID/2/1 5000272
165/ItemID/3/1 5000273
165/parts 1 // No idea what this means, but the relevant activeSkill data also implies some "parts" requirements.
165/completeCount 3

And the skill data:

Code:
skill/80000057/invisible    1
skill/80000057/setItemPartsCount    2
skill/80000057/setItemReason    165
skill/80000057/disable    1
skill/80000057/info/type    50
skill/80000057/info/magicSteal    1
skill/80000057/common/padX    5
skill/80000057/common/madX    5
skill/80000057/common/maxLevel    1
skill/80000057/psd    1

So what's up with the sounds?
Yes, the data includes sounds for sets which is really strange. The skills listed above are PASSIVE skills, and passive skills usually do not make a sound because they can't be activated (they are always active). So I'm only left to believe that these SetItemSounds are for sets not currently implemented in the game.

So is my level 140 set safe?
For the time being, yes. But given the SetItemSounds that are currently in the data, I would say it won't be long until we see damaging skills attached to sets.

What do the sounds sound like?
Download this and open it in an HTML5 capable browser (Chrome/Firefox should do).

Didn't the Mercedes unicorns have a mount skill when you have 3 of them? Isn't that considered an active skill?

I'll be happy with anything. There's like, three other legit players in my server that actually bother to cube their items, and the updates have yet to actually address the now even more insane gap between the rich and poor. We're probably going to get our asses stomped at Chaos Horntail at this rate. Let alone the new Empress.(Hell, we BARELY have enough DPS for the current one) No, Strange Cubes do not fix this.

Even if they somehow changed the mechanics so that more parties could go in (Which would be a recipe for disaster seeing that bosses are even more difficult than before) just how much damage would that be adding? It's pretty safe to say that if even limgoon is bringing in other attackers and buffers there WILL be an eventual buff and we're just hoping it's not going to be like the Angelic Buster crap where it took ages for other classes to be on her level.

Wait, so Demon Slayer gets the new quests too? If so, does Demon Avenger have all the same quests as Demon Slayer? I was under the impression they had the same past but similar yet different storylines. (Like an alternate reality.)

It seems so going by the good old Google translation of the patch notes. I assume the common quests would apply to both. And it says some Demon Slayer quests have been removed. It looks like Avenger only gets one unique quest.
