I hate it too, but I guess people use it for a reason, despite how bad it might be.

OT: Without much confirmation other than "pretty sure" I think the whole thing seems pointless. He comes up with nothing new, nothing the player base didn't knew/thinks/suspects and without being sure things will stay that way. We're thinking that Nexon sucks, this Q&A makes us think the same thing we've been thinking all along :o!!.
Also, I don't see what the big deal is: even if it's true, he's no longer a gm or associated with Nexon.

All seems believeable to me; mostly confirming what many already suspected.

I can believe the Paypal stuff. A year or two ago they were doing massive PP refunds to some players right before banning them. Some thought the refunds were accidental and triggered the ban, but it was the other way around. They did this to to prevent the possibility of chargebacks. If too many (ex) players were to chargeback, Nexon gets severely penalized (I don't recall the details, there was a reference to this in some note from the NA boss)

'Outsourced' may mean that some GM-ing is now done remotely from Korea or even cheaper wage locales. Hence banning activity in the middle of the night, GMs who never reply, etc.

All the stuff about not being allowed to acknowledge errors or exploits, nor admit that accounts were compromised, nor able to do anything about it all rings true.

Overall confirms to me that the upper management of Nexon has no concern for the players whatsoever. Pretty much unethical, evil, corporate shark types.

Can't say I'm the least bit surprised when it comes to most of the answers.

Wow. Actually reading this interview kinda gives a new perspective on their jobs. Its kinda sad that when horrible things actually happen in game its almost always the GM's that get pointed at.

Edit: Um you do know that people can read this on the first page without replying right? Yeah I am gonna have to agree with what some other people have said in that 1. He sounds really pissed off. 2. This is nothing new. And 3. We are not even sure if this guy really worked at Nexon.

I will have to agree. Without the source this is just not useable to build anything around.
I already belive stuff is like the interview shows, but unfortunantly this is not confirmation that I am right .
